I am mostly German born in Chicago. I am older now with more time so I (in the suburbs now) routinely go through the big garbage bins and pull out as many plastic bottles to put into the recycle container. I usually pull out about 3 regular garbage cans FULL of plastic bottles of every type every week. It makes me feel good to watch when the truck picks up all those recyclable plastics up. Even all those large laundry detergent bottles which I call high value. I also roam the condo complex grounds routinely to pick up garbage that many people just throw to the ground. Being neat, clean and organized must be a German thing. I'm just doing my part to make America Beautiful as much as possible.
Please mom please film some German dishes. German recipes would be so neat then you and Mike eat . So cool. Nice to see mom up and moving even though she's frozen. Lol
I remember drinking Jagrmiester. Never again. Got into a drinking game with my neighbor. Drink a beer & every 20 minutes, take a shot of Jagemiester. After 2 hrs , my legs refused to work properly. The hangover was horrible. My parents used to pick up Jagemiester at the German delicatessen. Back when I was a kid some 50 years ago, it was known as a stomach bitters. Have a upset stomach, drink a couple of ounces of Jagemiester. My dad was originally from Ukraine but before WW2 was displaced & his family had to escape to Germany. His parents lived in Western Berlin & his grandparents & great grandparents refused to leave Eastern Germany. When the wall was built , my Dad was scared to visit East Germany. He cried & refused to go across the border when my mom & us kids went into East Berlin to visit his grandparents. ( my dad was scared they would capture him & ship him to Russia) Take Care & God Bless.
Massachusetts is the same with cans. I'm used to it. Never see cans or bottles on the streets... went down south... no redemption there. Cans on the street... I've seen those change things too

We just moved from San Pedro, CA to Germany about 5 months ago and we noticed we have more money in our pockets here, so it was great to see a rough side by side comparison of all the groceries. Thank you for that! Truly amazing just how expensive California is. Wir schauen schon seit zwei, drei Jahren deine Videos und lieben sie alle. Haben dich und deine Mama und Freunde so richtig ins Herz geschlossen ☺️ Lieben Gruß aus Kaiserslautern!

well the prices in the USA are cheaper , in terms of economy I don't think any country in the world can match the USA expect maybe China or Saudi Arabia or Iran and stuff , maybe Germany or Australia but China and the USA have a strong economy , I would love to visit China , heard a lot of great stuff , I've heard the capital city is like a mega city with modern state of the art roads and metros and stuff but Germany has a very strong economy , prices are high but people have high wages
The reason US eggs must be refrigerated is because they wash the layer of membrane or whatever off of the shell of the egg. It's supposed to be more sanitary for the egg but it makes it rot quicker.

When I stayed in Berlin, they used to tell me if you’re homeless there it’s because you choose to, because they have programs that help you avoid that..
I live in Texas, Fort Worth area. And once I went to the neighborhood Mexican market I was hooked. A small market that had all the local and Mexican fruits and vegs. I learned to "make do" with what is in season. Large markets were no longer an option. Walmart tried to sell me fruit from 1000's of miles away. When it was locally available and much better.
Groceries are in general, at least 20 percent less in Europe as opposed to U.S. There are some things less in the U.S., but on average considerably less in Europe.
