I remember being so hyped for the release of those that I watched your video on them maybe 2-3x a day. I love your content and the genuine opinion you give about the pros and cons on shoes. I started playing basketball when i was 14 in 2017 when I was looking for some 'best ankle protection shoes for basketball" on yt then I saw the weartesters. And since then I watched most of performance reviews (also other reviews ofc) and some of the old ones as welll like the air jordan project and kobe etc etc. Loved watching your review and thank you Chris!

I'll surely miss Chris doing performance reviews. This is my go-to channel for those. Been watching since 2018. Man, you've been the best for that category. I'll continue supporting nonetheless. I don't say this lightly but I trust this channel for the tech specs alone, that's how great it is. It's detailed and informative but not boring. Also, you cover shoes that are actually affordable and within reach and as a guy who wears B-ball shoes off-court, this is 100% legit. More power to the whole Weartesters crew!

Man, I got into performance reviews thanks to your hyperdunk 2021 low review. As a kid from Mexico with 12-13 y/o I was privileged enough to get a trip to a nike outlet once in a year so I had to buy my shoes in that trip. Around that age I found your videos as I was old enough to save a bit of money and choose my actual basketball shoes so I wanted to make the best decision possible. Thanks to you I understood that hype is one of the least importantn thing to check when buying a performance sneaker. I got nothing but respect and admiration for you and I wanted to really thank you for what you did for the culture!

Should the kyrie low line really be called a takedown model? I think that they should be on the same field as the main line just that they are for people who prefer low cuts over high cuts. A kyrie takedown model should be the kyrie flytrap. Not the kyrie low line.

I think something to take notice of with the players have multiple active line now compared to before is players aren’t really wearing the main shoe exclusively anymore. Most guys bounce around within there line. Kd is the only guy I can think of with multiple shoes that stays in the “main shoe” all the time
Just picked up a pair at Ross for $55😆🙌. Came here to see if they'd be worth messing around with outdoors or if I gotta keep them inside. Either way it's always nice to score a decent shoe for cheap🤑

Ohh man... It's like a storyline of Batman Beyond. But for Nightwing. And for basketball. And real life. And, well you get the point. Interested to see the tryouts and the passing of the torch. On behalf of the all the pockets saved and potential bad purchases, thank you for the reviews and the honest feedback of, not just sneakers, but the shoe industry in general!
I, too, am saddened to know that Chris will reduce some of his performance reviews, but not that much. 1) It’s cool to know that he’s prioritizing his body, which is great for himself and his family. It also means that he’s likely to continue longer overall instead of burning out sooner. 2) It’s actually a testament to the strength of his endorsement if people watch other people that their team deems worthy. For example, I watched Jalique’s video the other day and was initially skeptical, but then very quickly was like, “nah, if he has their nod, then let’s check him out.” And it was cool. It doesn’t feel very different than business or other industries. Take hip hop for example. It’s better to be, say, Lil Wayne and have Drake, Nicki Minaj and others branch out and have great careers than being a solo act who doesn’t open doors for others. They’re making it so that I/we buy into WearTesters, which I think is both sustainable and commendable. Peace to the team!
Damn sunnnn, being 41 i feel your (knee/hip) pain. I too played in take down models like Protege and budget (no tech) joints. I these days (past 15 years) seek onky comfort when it comes to a hoopn shoe. I fight daily/weekly/monthly/yearly/hourly about man is it truly that time. Has father time finally said chill sir. In my mind i can still hoop like im 25. But my knees and back slap my ass into reality after a few game sesh

Nothing compares to a Nightwing performance review 😭. Understand the health aspect. I’m 44 and still hooping hard but only once per week and only indoors. Can definitely recommend finding a good sports physiotherapist and getting a tailored strength training program if that helps.

I'll surely miss Chris doing performance reviews. This is my go-to channel for those. Been watching since 2018. Man, you've been the best for that category. I'll continue supporting nonetheless. I don't say this lightly but I trust this channel for the tech specs alone, that's how great it is. It's detailed and informative but not boring. Also, you cover shoes that are actually affordable and within reach and as a guy who wears B-ball shoes off-court, this is 100% legit. More power to the whole Weartesters crew!

Man, I got into performance reviews thanks to your hyperdunk 2021 low review. As a kid from Mexico with 12-13 y/o I was privileged enough to get a trip to a nike outlet once in a year so I had to buy my shoes in that trip. Around that age I found your videos as I was old enough to save a bit of money and choose my actual basketball shoes so I wanted to make the best decision possible. Thanks to you I understood that hype is one of the least importantn thing to check when buying a performance sneaker.

Should the kyrie low line really be called a takedown model? I think that they should be on the same field as the main line just that they are for people who prefer low cuts over high cuts. A kyrie takedown model should be the kyrie flytrap. Not the kyrie low line.

I think something to take notice of with the players have multiple active line now compared to before is players aren’t really wearing the main shoe exclusively anymore. Most guys bounce around within there line. Kd is the only guy I can think of with multiple shoes that stays in the “main shoe” all the time

Just picked up a pair at Ross for $55😆🙌. Came here to see if they'd be worth messing around with outdoors or if I gotta keep them inside. Either way it's always nice to score a decent shoe for cheap🤑

I, too, am saddened to know that Chris will reduce some of his performance reviews, but not that much. 1) It’s cool to know that he’s prioritizing his body, which is great for himself and his family. It also means that he’s likely to continue longer overall instead of burning out sooner. 2) It’s actually a testament to the strength of his endorsement if people watch other people that their team deems worthy. For example, I watched Jalique’s video the other day and was initially skeptical, but then very quickly was like, “nah, if he has their nod, then let’s check him out.” And it was cool. It doesn’t feel very different than business or other industries. Take hip hop for example. It’s better to be, say, Lil Wayne and have Drake, Nicki Minaj and others branch out and have great careers than being a solo act who doesn’t open doors for others. They’re making it so that I/we buy into WearTesters, which I think is both sustainable and commendable. Peace to the team!
Damn sunnnn, being 41 i feel your (knee/hip) pain. I too played in take down models like Protege and budget (no tech) joints. I these days (past 15 years) seek onky comfort when it comes to a hoopn shoe. I fight daily/weekly/monthly/yearly/hourly about man is it truly that time. Has father time finally said chill sir. In my mind i can still hoop like im 25. But my knees and back slap my ass into reality after a few game sesh

I watch all your videos, and feel identified with you and your tastes, even though I don't have money to buy sneakers XD. My actual pair, the KD14's, bought them becasue of your reviews, great shoes BTW. You're the GOAT man.
Nothing compares to a Nightwing performance review 😭. Understand the health aspect. I’m 44 and still hooping hard but only once per week and only indoors. Can definitely recommend finding a good sports physiotherapist and getting a tailored strength training program if that helps.
No one can replace the original. 💪
