Camera 1 started going funky on us on some of the holes. Sorry about that! It looks like the was some issue with dropped frames... Hope you guys can still enjoy the round :)
@@mekan0001 Yeah, i thought my computer was tripping, then I thought I was... then i was disappointed... then I realized I'm watching amazing disc golf and I was psyched!
Thanks for the good coverage. Absolutely fantastic course and good commentary. Just a tip to Eric Oakley, if you pronounce Silver Lätt's last name like the English word "let" you are nailing it. All the best and rock on!
Does Ford just sponsor this golf course, thus prompting an ad? Or did they choose to give more money to disc golf? I find it hard to believe a major company would bite on DG like this in the US.
Good commentary but a bit too much emphasis on the hole description and how to play it and not enough on what is actually going on. There’s not much sense in continuing to describe the hole while they are putting out. Some of the descriptions were blatantly obvious as telling us the basket is on a small mound as we are looking at it. Not very much enthusiasm on the shots the players are making. Hard to stay awake listening to it.
@13:36 My nemesis in frame! (the tree behind and to the left of the basket)... I played this the day after in Ma40 and my short forehand spike hyzer (3rd) hit that tree and rolled down the entire root to the left to give me a 15m putt :/
Silly thing to say that the difference between pros and amateurs is they wait for the distraction to pass.. haha. I've seen Ams wait and pros not wait. I think the difference is talent and execution!
They said they didn't have time to create graphics for three different courses. So the graphics are really minimalistic. Unless i misunderstood what you meant.
@@Ruger1022C True. He may be having some misfires and missing lines a little bit out of caution for his shoulder. Even with an injury, he's top 5 in the world.
There is a Russia graveyard from the fist world war near the late holes. fun fact, those bunkers that you see in the early holes were made by Russian soldiers in the late 19th century.
Yeah there also used to be a military base near by so they were uses in training. Hole 11 (or whatever, the big par4 shot towards OB before the basket) used to be a shooting range I believe
Whoa! I couldn't wait to get home and watch this coverage. So much so in fact, I made a stop at the grocery store to complete ingredients for my famous margaritas. Sat down, tuned in, clicked play, took a sizable drink of delicious ice cold margarita at about the 1:55 mark, and at 1:57 splattered a complete mouthful of the said delicious margarita all over my Alienware's Laptop keyboard and monitor! Mäkelä intro song choice was Marshmellow's ' Everyday ' , and you played it?!?!? This is wrong on so many levels as to defy any rational reasoning, normal behavior, and thinking. C'mon, SM Disc Golf Productions. Just what in the literally hell were you thinking? Same question goes to Mäkelä. Really, dude? Really? I get the whole " When in Rome..." thing, and perhaps that's normal over there, though I seriously doubt it, as there's children in the gallery. Just wow, guys. Wow... And it's impossible that I'm the ONLY one to have heard and commented on this. SM Disc Golf Productions, are you actually moderating and editing the ' comments ' and NOT the song? You have to be, which makes the whole thing evern more irrational and insane. Time will tell and I screenshot this entry, so don't be bashful at this point, this HAS to be discussed, my friends...
People who aren't the best at a sport can still be good commentators. It's possible to understand the game and not be the best at executing it. Tons of examples in every major sport in America.

Looks like a shutter issue. Great coverage though! Thanks a lot. 🔥
Drop that thing off at the local thrift store. Still great 👍
That's disappointing as I thought my drugs were kicking in a new fun way. Alas, a mere camera issue.

Love seeing the gallery. The Fin's really have embraced this sport.
Realizing that I've actually played this course in Finland several years ago just blew my mind!
Greetings from Sweden!
That stuff happens sometimes... Thank You!!!!
Thank you, SMDGP! I have been hanging out for this.

man love this intro music, perrrrfect!! :)
7:03 when it comes to disc golf in Finland, this is quite a common sight: a wooded tunnel.
"Mörri", could either be a colloquial way to say Mörkö (monster), or my favorite: Finnish-style short for Mordor. No-one wants to go to Mordor.

They have build 2 disc golf courses in Finland and are sponsoring Finnish pro players, so they are investing in disc golf at least here in Finland.

I was just about to ask someone to explain the strange erosion in the early holes. It's really battleground bunkers?
Yeah there also used to be a military base near by so they were uses in training. Hole 11 (or whatever, the big par4 shot towards OB before the basket) used to be a shooting range I believe
Rick Bays Those bunkers were used for training mostly. There is many old militarybuildings nearby that course, most of them are from 18-19th century,
I mean hole 9. Cant really be 11 on the front nine can it duh
14:10, Eagle with the quick fake

Chill Okapi because most of us are far more closely rated to her than to these guys. Good "real world" perspective.
