“We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.” I think this article of faith is a large reason for lds openness and for me personally exo 22:21 “You shall neither mistreat a stranger nor oppress him, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. Because many of us have been foreigners as missionaries we are more sensitive to the struggle that can be. I love all God’s children.
I have spoken and taught on the 11th Article of Faith (your first quote ) that is so central to LDS way of respect in life. It is a beautifully honoring and visionary philosophy that I wish more people of faith would adopt
This was wonderful! Please have Rabbi Joe Charnes back on the program again 🙏! He's amazing. My favorite guest ever ❤️. I am so glad that you and your mom made it through the hurricane safely, Steven. You were in my prayers.
I viewed and listened to this entire episode. My favorite thing about religion is that I was able to leave behind the endless virtue signaling, circular reasoning, and long winded narratives. My life is simple and more fulfilling than ever without the superficial religious rhetoric. I still enjoy MBR because Steve thinks outside the box.
I love this
Thank you. And I loved doing it. Blessings

🙏
This rabbi is wasting his time by reading the fairytale Book of Moron.
I am grateful your spirit was touched by the beautiful dialogue shared between people of different faith traditions.
As you can see Rabbi love to read the Book of Mormon. Give credit to Rabbi 👊
