Welcome back to another spring walleye fishing video! Today we are fishing near Door County WI for some big walleyes in super clear water. In this video Ryan and I are hunting the shallows looking for big fish that are staging to spawn. We are using a variety of jigging lures from Rippin Raps to Kalins Google Eye Hair Jigs. Reminds me of a lot of the point I surf cast at night this time of year. Crazy how shallow those big fish come in. A lot of times they will hit right at my feet.

Hey Tom. Recently found your channel. Love the content. Have you done a video on the walleye run in Menominee River in Marinette Wisconsin? The bite is on right now. Some of the best walleye fishing I have personally ever had. I hope you can do a video there sometime in the next 2 weeks while the run is on. The walleye come off the lake and push up to the dam. No fishing seasons in North Dakota, come fish the Missouri in Bismarck area, talk about some tough conditions. Cant ever have Clear, calm, slow current nothing. always fast, always dirty.

Man it got super warm and a bunch of fish dumped really really fast and just like that they’re almost done spawning. Pretty crazy spring, blinked and gone.

It was about 6 inches wider. This is a totally different machine. There is a lot going on in the back of the boat but I am in love with this set up

ONCE YOU FISH DOOR COUNTY , NOTHING ELSE EVEN COMES CLOSE. THE NORTHWOODS IS ALMOST VOID OF ANY FISH LIKE THESE. NIGHTIME AFTER 4TH OF JULY TO FREEZE UP. ITS UNTOUCHABLE. FISH OVER 8 POUNDS ARE COMMON. BUT YOU NEED TO KNOW YOUR SPOTS AND HAVE THE RIGHT BOAT.
