Dude! I can't wait. I was holding my hand to make a comment that you should swap the engine with 2 JZ or something if the b58 is bad. Glad that it's good man. Ohh, while you're in there, maybe considering adding mod to the engine? More power is good right? Especially if you can have it reliably.
Yea I upgraded the parts I could like the harmonic balancer and the head bolts. Next up would really be upgrading the turbo if it's not usable. But that's gonna be expensive lol but if we blow up maybe we can get a sponsorship 😎

Love the build series! Not to give you yet another thing to replace, but there’s an “emerging” issue with early B58TU oil pumps failing resulting in high pressure and inability to read oil level. The data is limited, but plenty of reports on the BMW and Supra forums). It might be worth replacing with the supposedly revised model as it’s a lot of work once the engine is back in the car.
