  • We are honored to hear from Eric O’Neill. Mr. O’Neill has worked as an FBI counter-terrorism and counter-intelligence operative, a national security attorney, and as a corporate security consultant. In February, 2001, while working with the FBI, he was involved with one of the most intriguing spy operations in U.S. history. His story is the subject of Universal Studios’ feature film, “Breach,” in which Eric was portrayed by actor Ryan Phillippee. Listen to Eric as he tells this gripping story.

The movie "Breech" is one of my all-time favorites..When I say I've watched it 20xs (with all the commentary) since I bought it, is only a slight exaggeration. Listening to this however varies a bit from the movie/commentary..I was under the impression there was a better relationship with Hanssen. Anyway..Incredible story..loved it!!!
I would love to know Eric's thoughts on the current FBI top tier...seems to me Robert Hanssen shouldn't be the only one that got a prison cell where he died.

I don't ever want to meet anyone in the FBI, but I sure am glad they're there.

Pronounced Ryan Fill - LEAP. Accuracy in language as well as spystuff matters. 😅

So past documentaries make it sound like Hanssen was flashy. But Eric made a comment he drove a “Old beat up Ford Focus” or paraphrasing. Point is, I’m guessing Robert drove a old beat up car intentionally to chaff & redirect.

I don't think he means "worst" in the way to mean Hanssen wasn't skilled at their methods. I think he means "worst" as in the guy's character is bad. Like he's basically calling him a bad person

I don't think he needs explaining.. But appreciate the clarification.
