Bintan Chinese tourism such as Thailand's Wat Pho Statue

Today we will tour one of the Chinese ethnic tourist attractions in Bintan district, Riau Islands province, the name of the tourist attraction is Vihara Dharma Santi or often called the sleeping Buddha statue, and here all religions are welcome and it's free. This sleeping Buddha statue is like Wat Pho in Thailand
The Reclining Buddha statue at the Dharma Shanti Vihara, Tanjung Uban, Bintan has become a spiritual attraction and tourists who want to witness this miracle without having to go far to Thailand. With a magnificent replica of the Reclining Buddha Statue at Wat Pho, Bangkok, this statue attracts attention with its size reaching 15 meters and facing west.
Dharma Shanti Vihara, also known as Avalokitesvara Vihara, is a famous Buddhist place of worship in Bintan. Apart from the Reclining Buddha Statue, this monastery also boasts beautiful architecture and a tranquil atmosphere, creating an ideal place for meditation and reflection.
This Sleeping Buddha statue depicts Buddha's position before death when he entered nirvana. His relaxed sleeping posture and serene face symbolize the peace and wisdom that many people seek. Many tourists visit the Dharma Shanti Vihara to admire the beauty of this statue and feel the serenity it brings.
Apart from the beauty of its statues, the Dharma Shanti Vihara also often hosts religious celebrations and Buddhist festivals which attract tourists from all over the world. This place offers a unique spiritual experience as well as the opportunity to enjoy the culture and natural beauty of Bintan Island.
This "Sleeping Buddha" statue is at the back of the Dharma Shanti Vihara and was designed by an artist from Banyuwangi, Dedi Purnomo. The construction of this statue took four months and was inaugurated on October 19 2019. The Reclining Meditation Buddha statue is 16.8 meters long and 4 meters high.
