    Why did you not get an expert from Mexico where the avocado originated? Mexico is still the #1 producer.

    • @IndoIsraelAvocado
      @IndoIsraelAvocado  5 месяцев назад +43

      Yes, Mexico is number one producer, but Mexican experts don't have experience in growing avocados in hot climatic conditions. Israel does. Furthermore, avocados are native to Mexico and are being grown commercially for a long time, they are not native to Israel, this is another commonality that India has with Israel. Avocado is a very new crop and I believe Israeli experience is more valuable here than Mexican experience.

    • @estebancorral5151
      @estebancorral5151 5 месяцев назад +6

      @@IndoIsraelAvocado Most of Mexico is hot and arid so your statement is an error. Mexico has the greatest history of cultivated desert plant such as cacti and agaves. The very Thar desert can be cultivated with them. As for avacados, the are many companion plants which benefit them. There were too many things not covered by your expert the will stifle your production.

      Your soil must have drainage. So the roots won’t get waterlogged. In Mexico, where the avocado originated, specifically the state of Michoacán, the avocado is planted mid slope of hills. Do not over water. Clay or compacted soil could be your problem. The reason these these were planted on a mound is to have good drainage. The Israeli cautioned against compacting because this would hinder the roots.

    What a shame, now we are taking lessons from Israel !!!!! This clearly shows that quality will always trump bs quantity, no matter what. India occupies 2.4% of the world's land area and is home to 18% of the world's population, but we have only 4% of global water resources. Whereas Israel is nowhere close to India in terms of land area or our over the top population explosion yet continue to be flag bearer of innovation be it in high tech sector or agriculture.
