Hey Wyatt, I don't know if you like thrash that much but I would be happy to see some kind of thrash recommendation or your favorites. In my opinion there's a lot of underground thrash gems that go under the radar compared to death and black metal for some reason, and it would be cool to see more people talk about them.
I also hold the opinion that Judas Priest are superior to Maiden. I think Maiden's first 6 albums are amazing, and some of them easily outshine some of Priest's albums, but I personally think Maiden haven't released a decent album since Brave New World, and even that is far from their best work. I could go in depth on my opinions of every Priest and Maiden albums and then compare and contrast them, but I won't.

Black Magick SS are talented. The quality of their recordings ruin it and doesn't fit their 60s psych style. Their newest album Rainbow Nights fixes that and is fantastic and you should check it out. I also really like Dream Machine, and their RUclips channel, Matthew and Doris, is pretty good and has some great recommendations for unknown prog, psych and some hard rock and folk bands from the 60s/70s. Discovered the bands England and High Treason because of them.
Idk personally I disagree, I agree that their talented but I think the recording style adds to the atmosphere and sound of the music, same goes for polterwytch or white night.
