The tank just looks bad to me. ur gonna go up against teir x's right there it's an L. thw rockets are garbage, u can't hit anything with them let alone pen its like the flamethrower it's just there. U don't actually end up banking on it. The primary gameplay is the main armament focus with the dpm it's the only thing that can do dmge with. And with a tank that's selling itself with rockets to be unique it fails for me. As you can play 200 other tanks that do what this does better. The calliope was great as it's lower teir and the rockets are actually relevant in their teir.

You make several valid points, especially those regarding the Calliope.
But then, the Calliope actually existed, was mass-produced, and saw real-life combat during WW2, whereas the T99 was merely an experimental vehicle that never even got to the prototype phase of development.

Tier VIII’s need to be really good in general as they usually face tier X’s these days. This doesn’t appear to be another Bourrasque or Draugen. I too agree with the points you make. Shame most of my premium tanks are tier VIII’s and I rarely play those now for that reason.

What would probably save this game rn is if there was a way to make gold through playing. even if it was small amounts [like: 1 gold per battle 🤔 or even 2 per win / 1 per loss ect ] this would open soo many doors! allowing u to grind for premiums but not soo fast as to bust WG's bank. People would play way more if there was a real way to grind gold. Or let massive quantities of silver be traded for small amounts of any currency like 100,000 silver is 1 gold or 1 free xp or commander xp this too would open soooo many doors!

Never buy new tanks when they come wait for them to be sold at discount, tbh I'll stick to super pershing plus 1 minus 2 matchmaking, is armoured and is not op. Forgot also makes credits on losses and wins
The sweet spot for the T99 missile launcher rig is about 150m out. Unfortunately not straight out like the Calliope (Cal-EYE-OH-peh).
So its just a pershing with less camo...

Wot console is pure garbage now!! I try to play but it's just Mario carts with guns but what's even worse there are op premium 9 and 10s in the game with tt tanks being nerfed. All to make ypu pay to play.

If u had watched more than one of his tank reviews you would know this. He's openly told people not to buy WG's tanks for months. He only recommended this one cuzz he liked it. Sooo that's why I posted back to u to advise u that he's not getting paid off and if u think that then ur just dumb. Edit: just so you know, I don't get paid from wargaming. I criticise them frequently, almost all premiums I say not to buy. Im sorry you got offended but clearly you don't understand that just because you have a title like CC doesn't mean anything. I play the game, I sometimes hate the game and it's direction. I sometimes like the game. I rarely love playing the game. There's nothing to shill over this game for, there is no reward or clout or benefit to do it and as I said at the start I don't get any benefit for it.
Im grinding the tech tree version of the Pershing and i just wanna say how painful this thing is for me. Everything that is needed in this tech tree version this thing gets other then the rocket pods. It kinda pisses me off.

I found this tank to be super fun. I like that rockets require finesse to land, and proper range. Teir 9, 10 this isnt as much fun for reasons you made clear. Money well spent IMO. Thanks Eclipse!
