    Israel does not appear in this table, but it's a bit misleading -- domestic water heating, which is a major consumer of energy, is almost completely solar and doesn't affectin electricity consumption.

      The problem is that it is only total solar smaller countries with less people just don't make it to the list. needs to be in amount per person.

      that is not electricity, if you want to count that, then China would have even more, because they use roof solar heater on nearly every household, the same with entire South East Asia.

      this means they are not consuming electricity for X purpose, a different graph compared to this one, which is just showing total production capacity.

      Yes . Being small country in the total solar power generation is low and Israel will not appear . But if per capita solar power use is calculated then it can in the top 3 .

    Germany 60000 GWh / per 80 million population = 750 GWh / 1 million people
    China 427000 Ghh / per 1425 million population = 299 GWh / 1 million people

      @@S1lverarrow well, recently all sorts of things have been going on. as of 2023 charts show that germany imported power, vs the previous decades where they exported it. generation and consumption have fallen. there's a really informative page if you search >germanys energy consumption and power mix charts

      I am pleased to see that the German people can use clean energy, and equally pleased to see that 87% of Germany's solar panels come from China.
