I wish people would stop talking about Quinn coming back. I want to continue reveling in how great Will Howard is in our march towards our National Championship. Come spring ball I only want to hear about how close Julian is towards going "Super Sayin". Go Buckeyes!
I have been consuming as much pre game content as possible about the game. I have barely seen/heard anything mentioned about Quinn being at OSU other than a passing comment here or there. Nobody is making it a big deal. I’ve seen more discussion about Will having faced Texas 4 times in his career
@@Heeezy33Most of it is speculation because Quinn may stay one more year and Texas plans to start Arch next year. Meaning if Quinn stays he will be looking for a new home. With OSU and Miami being the two big spenders who also happen to have a need for an experienced QB going into next year and with Quinn's past with Ohio State it's only natural that speculations crops up.
Agreed. I have nothing against his leaving for his home state. The only thing I hold against him was that thing where he changed his class just to come up here early and peaced out after a year. But whatever. You win some, you lose some.
Quinn played Ohio State, plain and simple. And I'm not even upset about it. Ohio passed NIL legislation on July 1, 2021. Texas didn't until later in the year after the season had started. Quinn came to get paid, and he left to get paid closer to home. He never would've come to Ohio State without the NIL situation.
Quinn would have had a better career if he stuck it out at Ohio State. McCord would have still transferred, and Quinn would probably have gone early to the pros. That said, Will Howard is my guy, ride or die.
Exactly. I'm rooting for mccords success as any real osu fans should. We got a seasoned Vet in Will Howard and Mccord went on and set records, win win. Don't know why people think osu fans want to see this young man fail. If you're rooting for a young college kid to fail, you have already failed yourself.
Ok, so im not upset by Ewers leaving but i dont buy that he was some sort of victim of circumstance. He made decisions which did confuse the situation and if he chose an inopportune time to transfer he can't bitch about not getting attention. It felt a little immature to change his class for cash and then leave after a year.
After the past 2 games, I'm convinced the players are dialed in. I believe the coaches are as well. If our game plan is good and we confuse and attack them, I like our chances.
TBH I don`t think the QE-OSU saga is particularly interesting at all. He`s just another talented kid that came and went. I`m happy things worked out for both parties. QE is not coming to tOSU. Period lol.
I think it would be laughable for Quinn to expect Ohio State to pay him 6 million dollars to come back next season when in all reality Quinn is the one who needs Ohio State and Ohio State doesn't really need him, when Quinn decided to leave Ohio State and go back home to play for his dream school and home state, now if Quinn ended up not getting developed by making that decision he's only have himself to blame for that, I think if Quinn wants to be developed by Ryan Day he's the one who should pay Ohio State the 6 million to allow him to come back and get developed and not the other way around because when Quinn decided to transfer he knew well that Sark is no QB whisperer and still made that decision to transfer either way therefore he should be responsible for making the hat decision and if he wants his development to be correced then he should pay for that pit of his own pocket.
I think yall are being nice about Quinn. He didn’t have to come out of high school in August. Everyone knew it was a bad idea as far as development goes. And everyone knew the earliest he’d see the field at OSU was 2023. But he & potentially his family wanted the NIL money now instead of 5 months later.
He and his family were more than entitled to capitalize on the kombucha line they had launched at that moment. It's the state of Texas who's at fault. But for any unhinged person in our fan base to hold ill will against Quinn is just bonkers Ohio state did nothing wrong and Quinn did nothing wrong It's pretty clear the kid has Respect for the Buckeye program and appreciates the brief time he had here. End of story
@@Edward_USMC13Definitely don’t hold it against Quinn or his family. But I also don’t think it was some unfortunate situation that the powers that be created and the Ewers family had no choice in the matter. They could’ve waited until January to get to school (Texas or Ohio State) and made bank. But they wanted the money immediately so they went to Ohio State. Then realized that getting there in August instead January messed up development, messed up when he could play, etc
Don’t listen to the National media like Achoo. They don’t watch any film other than maybe the live games. Achoo is too busy doing other things than study film😂
The flipside of what austin said about quinn is that if he truly has that much natural talent, its possible he finds it at any time. CJ before the georgia game faced a lot of the sam criticisms, then showed to be a generational prospect when his coach opened the playbook. Hopefully we dont see the same this weekend.
CJ only faced criticism cause he lost to Michigan twice. Outside of those two games he was elite pretty much his entire career. Quinn has been mostly average his entire career. He’s never come close to a Utah 2021, Oregon 2021, Sparty 2021 type performance
People forget there is a combination of fit vs talent. Is Howard the most talented? No. But college ball is different, look at JT and other QBs. Leadership, system fit, etc go a long way. I think Quinn and OSU would have won the NC in 2023 and he would have been a 1st rounder, is what it is. But I don't think the other QB's dropped in at OSU in spring could be leading this team like WH is right now and running this offense the same.
I said it 4 years ago, 3 years ago, 2 years ago and I’m saying it now => Quinn Ewers has been the best QB in college football for quite some time now…….. 2 straight final four CFP appearances……and if his receivers could catch => he’d already have 2 Nattys. 3 seasons ago => his first year starting for Texas, my friends asked me how poorly I thought he’d do vs Bama => I said you’re kidding right, this young man ain’t afraid of Saban or Bama or anyone => he’s gonna ball out and send Bama out with the tide….. It was his second start => and HE DELIVERED!! Sadly, his first two years at Texas => it didn’t appear he had any receivers who could catch because his passes were MONEY !!!
Ewers used Ohio State for a bag now Ohio state defense is going to use him for sacks!!! Go Bucks!
Thats hard
Don't think so. Nobody knew Stroud was that good
@@Krpwg515 elite 11 did.

Right, like that's so old news, move on already.

Ohio state and our fans have absolutely nothing against Quinn, it’s weird that the Texas media is trying to spin it that way

You are correct. He's a Texas boy. He was never staying.
Awesome as always thanks guys go bucks ❤️

Wish Quinn good luck in the future but I think the way it played out was best for all parties. Hope the buckeyes put it on him
Safe travels down to Dallas my guys!!

Will Howard is #2 in the country in total QBR
Can you guys do some kind of Texas offense and defense preview?

Gabriel was better than Ewers and Bucks smashed him. Let's got Buckeyes
Exactly
Quin was at OSU long enough to collect a bag and take a dump. Can we move on?
Why is this a big conversation, he played less than 10 snaps.

Ewers is a professional athlete and he used the system like any other athlete. I wish him slightly less success than Ohio State this Friday.
😤Go BUCKS‼🅾🌰🏈
Thanks guys for your great coverage of our Beloved Buckeyes 🌰🌰🌰🌰 win or lose I love tOSU players and coaches

not an issue : QE was inconsistent . . . abit too young then, and un-reliable to drive the mazz.
He is a Texas homer!
Ewers reminds me of Kellen Moore.
Quinn to OISU is such a dumb take.

9:04 yeah Peter man no for real though
Quinn was a good prospect but his money and fame from Texas still couldn’t win him the starting job over CJ Stroud. He left well and that’s that.
Birm when is the next talking stuff
This year is the year for a mediocre QB to go to the NFL… very weak NFL QB draft class. Most NFL scouts are not even hot about Sanders/Ward.
Austin my bro, you don’t gotta talk for 10 minutes to get your point across! Just Say It lil bro damn, you make me wanna quit the video Jesus
Austin continues to diminish opposing talent. Can Ewers get hot and ruin Ohio State’s chances ? Yes, but Austin continues to diminish it.
