- We ended our travels to Morocco with a few days in the old city of Fez looking for a genuine cultural experience at an authentic old time barber shop.
This is the first of two barbershops we visited in Fez, Morocco near the Blue Gate. Just ask a local shop owner where to find Mr. Ahmed Lotfi at Suikt Ben Safi Talaa Sighira.

I love how you didn't edit the sound down, I think keeping the background noise in adds to the authenticity and gives a more complete experience as a viewer. Another brilliant video! 👏👏👏

Chris Cole if you look closely, the barber is wearing a mic for that exact purpose..and i believe thats why harry doesn't talk much in his videos so that we (the viewers) get the full range of the sounds in the barbershop..so that its more of an experience that focuses on the barber and the service and not harry
@@michaellundy4228 i have been watching this stuff for some time lol I started off watching Massimo, Baba Sen etc so I had noticed that the barber is mic'd up 👍
What i meant was, in some videos some people think the outside noise deems to be dulled down as some say it drowns out the inside noise due to mic sensitivity. I was saying I'm glad Harry decided not to do this, making the experience a more authentic one as we hear everything he did while filming 👍

There are a ton of Jewish Moroccans here (Toronto) from Fez, Tangier and Casablanca. My neighbour is from Fez, he came here in the late 60s. It's pretty cool to see Harry walking through the streets of Morocco, I've heard so much about them. Btw Morocco and Tunisia are the 2 most "successful" countries in Africa as we speak. I read an article on the most successful countries in Africa and Tunisia was number 1 and Morocco number 2.

This Harry guy sure has a stressful life.... I think he needs a day off from all this hard work he's been putting into his videos lately. He might need a full spa day with deep tissue massage on his body. I mean all this agonizing traveling around the globe meeting barbers that cut his hair and shave his face sure put a toll on him. This man makes sacrifices for us to be mesmerized by his.
To be fair, travelling and filming like this is still hard work, from personal experience.
For an older gentleman that barber has fantastic, thick hair.
