How did I not know the Distillers were back together?! I can never get enough of Brodie's scream!!! Coral Fang was the best album of the '00s and this song sounds just like it should.
Its pretty meh. Not good, not bad. Just something i wouldnt put on, but wouldnt skip.

Muita gente comentando que achou o som muito diferente do habitual e parecido com Spinnerette e QOSTA.
Parece que se esqueceram que o terceiro álbum já não tinha a mesma sonoridade hardcore punk do primeiro. Eu vejo nessa música uma continuação do elo iniciado com o Coral Fang, que não é meu o meu álbum favorito da banda, mas é um bom disco e muita gente conheceu Distillers ali.
O mais importante é que uma das bandas da minha vida esta de volta.
E pra não perder o costume: COME TO BRAZIL!
Muito diferente dos primeiros trabalhos do The Distillers lembrando algumas músicas do projeto solo de Brody Dalle mas com a agressividade de The Distillers, resumindo ficou lindo, fantástico.
Tá bem pra vibe do Coral Fang, com uma pitadinha da carreira solo... mas ainda dá pra sentir que é Distillers até de olhos fechados :3

I think it kind of sounds like a mix of late Distillers (Coral Fang) and Brody's recent solo work, which isn't a bad thing by any means.. Definitely not complaining, my only hope is that if there's a new album coming soon that some of the songs are raw and less polished, but either way it's sounding great so far! IT HAS BEEN TOO LONG!

At 47 seconds the time signature changes briefly and for me when that happens Brodi transforms her vocal delivery reminiscent to Danzig in Misfit fashion not cloned but in its essence. That might be a reach but I feel it the same as when she did Valium Knights which carried alot theme wise as Misfits/Bullet vein without the misogynistic tone replaced by herb and pick Melancholia Melody fat trimmed off Less Than 3 minutes fashion just I like it like it again not saying it's a clone but it's in its spirit I think that point can't be denied all of it fucking dope
Anyone else think it's dumb that people expect artists to sound the same and not progress over time with different sounds and ideas? Can you imagine how fucking boring that would be for the artist? I would be disappointed if these guys just churned out rehashes of their early work, it's nice to see musicians move with the times naturally.

their last album was a drastic change to their sound. it was obvious they were going to change more. But now people associate her solo stuff with her changing her sound even though it happened with coral fang. If the band didnt split up their next album would have been something like spinnerette anyways. I dont understand how fans cant grow along with the artists they listen to. Expand their listening, appreciate the growth. Instead they only want to live in the past lke a fantasy.
