this story is COMPLETELY unbelievable.
1- they perform a maneuver for which they have no fuel.
2- they condemn everyone onboard, for the benefit of a criminal who is killing them all.
3- that any Captain would (or be ALLOWED) to risk all of those lives for an Attempted Murderer who willfully endangered them all.
4- that weightlessness (or the return of virtual gravity) could have any lethal effects.
5- that the Ship would allow a Course Override without AT LEAST 2 Officers entering their Command Override Codes.
6- that the Attempted Murderers (because stowing away WOULD endanger the Passengers and Crew) wouldn't be punished up to Capital Punishment for committing such a horrendous crime.
7- that if a Course Override was attempted, they wouldn't just send a Rescue/Refit/Refuel/Repair/Retrieval Craft to secure the Derelict Ship.
Whoever committed such Attempted Mass Murder should be spaced out of the Airlock, to jettison the additional unplanned Mass to free up the Fuel Requirement for Delta V corrections.
