Is it weird that watching you shave your goats is at the same time relaxing and reminiscent of better times. I grew up showing/barrel racing so some of my best memories include washing and shaving an animal. This makes my heart happy!
Excellent grooming technique! I've been a pet groomer for 30 years. I can see you've been taught well. I have One hint for you. If you take a large empty bottle, I like to use an empty dawn dish soap bottle that has a handle on it, fill it with water and add about as much shampoo as you usually use to it. Shake it and apply it to your dry goat. It saves you water and you don't have to fight trying to spray the goat with the hose. At least not till rinsing!
👀 Me watching this, knowing I’m gonna have to shave my goats soon 😅
Ohh the joy of showing dairy goats
I'm feeling that too ha. I am in MI so we won't start clipping until end of May or possibly June.
Pretty lady!! Love the coat!! Stay safe!
One down, more to go. The other are jealous of Kitty jacket. LOL! Good luck at the show.
Its pretty cool to see JUST how much water gets blown off from that dryer. Good tools are the key to any endeavor...
Goat in a Coat! I love it 😹
The other girls are like " who does she think she is Super Goat"?
🐐🥰

I’ll definitely get an update on Kitty’s coat😉
The other goats are gonna laugh and call her names, jk. I think that’s how it should fit. So cute. 🇨🇦
Too funny a goat in a coat!😂

Dang now I need an empty dawn bottle of some sort🤔
I read in our show rules to do a “winter clip” which is longer, what blade size do you recommend for a “winter clip”?
What kinda clippers are those & where do you get them? 🤔
Andis brand of clippers. You can order them online or at a livestock feed store usually
