So Ben thought he had lost his friend and even though he had wanted to give him some room, Daniel had basically had no contact with them for 6 months. He was also scared they would'nt like the new songs and would give him a hard time. But pretty soon they loved them and were talking and laughing again.
It would've been nice if this dude let Dan finnish his sentences! Kudos to those guys for putting up with countless annoying interviews, and in particular to Daniel who would've been feeling miserable around the time this was filmed...What a beautiful looking young man and an amazing performer he was back then, despite the fact that he was sick... :)
Yeah well, that's quite understandible. I mean, he was extremely depressed and sufferd from anorexia + an (social) anxiety disorder at the time this interview was done..
Ben and Daniel have been friends since kindergarten. He kept trying to help Dan and get him out of the house. But Dan completely cut him off. Chris was acting as the mediator, at the time, when Dan wasn't really talking to Ben. I mean you can't imagine Chris raising his voice!
