You are 100% right that it’s in our nature to want something else to order our lives for us. God does it whether we acknowledge him or not, the only difference is that faith in Him brings us peace while faith in other things fills us with more questions. Praise God for this message.
What just blows my mind is how much all these false religions try to mock and rip off Christianity but you tell them the gospel and they think YOU are the ridiculous one for believing that. Everything under the sun is acceptable and believable to them, except the truth.

This is all way too connected to what the fallen elohim were talked about teaching in the extra biblical text of Enoch. I believe (needs a fact-check) that there was an ancient Jewish or other ancient cultures belief of the elohim being the stars in the sky
It's interesting, I've read some of the samguk yusa (chronicles of three states) an old korean text. And in the founding myth, there was like a heavenly being who came down and taught the people different skills... so the genesis 6 story and enoch you see in different places
I honestly don't know anyone who studies astrology this hard and never heard half the stuff you mentioned 😳 I only hear people talking about star signs and I knew about the air earth fire water thing. It scares me a bit that people are that in to it
