    You know it doesn’t matter how many times I see an American aircraft carrier I’m always extremely impressed by what goes into building and operating one. From the cleaning of said vessel to using it’s various tools of war to rescuing souls who are in great need of help and protection of the vessel, and I’ve been told that without exception that when one part of the departments goes titsup they all feel it. Thank you to all who’ve served and continue to serve you have my eternal gratitude, from north east Scotland i thank all of you.

    Never underestimate how good , healthy food fills bellies and hearts. Minds. And builds morale.
    Eat at the table with your family. Take the time to enjoy a hot meal with the ones you love. Nothing better than that ❤ born poor. I am rich

      Iran takes the second tanker.Iran seized the vessel Niovi, which was in transit from the Persian Gulf to the United Arab Emirates. Next, this tanker was supposed to move to the States, but the Persians had completely different plans.. And again, the scheme is worked out - the tanker is refueled, paid for and only then arrested. And the most interesting thing is that neither Muhammad bin Zayed al-Nahyan, the head of the UAE,, nor their state publication said a word about Iran's behavior. Well, they took it and took it away, as if it was intended that way.This is confirmation that Iran's actions are clearly coordinated with the Russians, with the Arabs, and with the Chinese. The support is total. And even 60 military bases and 50,000 Americans did not confuse Tehran..The Fifth US Navy remained to observe what was happening from afar,, after a "nice conversation with the Persians." The confused US military begins timid radio negotiations with the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps in order for the tanker to be released, the Americans were sent to milk the bulls.%

    It is a logistical wonder, though. Amazing. At every stop, I would have MIT-trained ME and MSEE + software check everything and run tests. Prevents problems. Software may not work, and the engines may have a problem. Or about to have a problem. Plumbing fixtures, desal plants, and so much more. Once they clear it the Navy can get a report and learn what problems were found. Engines, pumps, weapons alignment, and much more need to be checked. It would take six months, but then you know you are ready, and the Captain gets the report and issues training orders. Every time they will find 1000 problems that need to be repaired, tested, and documented It would be better if every carrier of ship could spend 1-2 years in port. That;'s how long it takes to check and test everything. Then you have reliability when out at sea. Even unreliable cooking great that can be a problem.

The total number of meals daily while underway is more than 20k.

      @cheftomsd Год назад

      If you think an aircraft carrier galley is small you need to see a WW2 Gearing class destroyer galley. The mess deck was not even on the same level, one level below. Moving 8" full gunboats (hotel pans) down a ladder to the serving line was an adventure in heavy seas.

    • @seniorrider9337
      @seniorrider9337 Год назад +1

      @@cheftomsd I served on a 542 class LST. The galley was on the main deck level, as well as the serving line, mess decks one level down. In even mild seas getting down the ladder with a 12" X 18" tray, ( approximate dimensions), was a chore. We once had 110 Korean Rocs on board to land near Chu Lai, Viet Nam. We got into some south seas rolling weather and the deck below the ladder had more food and puke than the garbage can. We landed them and as bad as Korean Rocs were supposed to be, 75% were casualties by dark. Those poor fellows didn't even have a chance.
      I remember going on an old destroyer from the mothball fleet and yes, every where was small. I was also on FF's for 5 years. Much roomier than the previous DDs from WW2.
      I never said a carrier galley was small. One could get lost in one on the new carriers.
      Did you ever see the galley on a fast attack sub? Now that is tiny.

These luxus soldiers sleep in a cosy warm bed every nigh. The soldier in the field live in raign, snow ect. These soldiers are not soldiers, they are soldiers at vercation.

    Nothing tiny about galleys on a carrier. The gullies are huge. Usually 3 galleys working 24/7. You need to do your research better.

      Iran takes the second tanker.Iran seized the vessel Niovi, which was in transit from the Persian Gulf to the United Arab Emirates. Next, this tanker was supposed to move to the States, but the Persians had completely different plans.. And again, the scheme is worked out - the tanker is refueled, paid for and only then arrested. And the most interesting thing is that neither Muhammad bin Zayed al-Nahyan, the head of the UAE,, nor their state publication said a word about Iran's behavior. Well, they took it and took it away, as if it was intended that way.This is confirmation that Iran's actions are clearly coordinated with the Russians, with the Arabs, and with the Chinese. The support is total. And even 60 military bases and 50,000 Americans did not confuse Tehran..The Fifth US Navy remained to observe what was happening from afar,, after a "nice conversation with the Persians." The confused US military begins timid radio negotiations with the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps in order for the tanker to be released, the Americans were sent to milk the bulls.;

Will be honoring those who have died to that also. So future generations know the cost we payed. Castle.
