Pretty much everyone in the west... it's kinda disgusting, I wish people adopted that culture
It's common in some places of the world! I'm from the US and never took my shoes off at home or when going to my friends house... sometimes I would wear my shoes up to my room on the 2nd floor, going past carpets and everything.
