But seriously, thank you very, very much! I'm still not sure if I want to give up the flat screen, but this has made the options much more clear!

Hello again Chris. Another amazing comparison. I really like both phones. I think the choice will be between flat screen or curved screen on these devices.
Here in Poland price difference for 12/256 GB versions of both phones is 60 Euro 12T Pro being the cheaper one. Edge 30 Ultra might be my next phone and my 4th Motorola.
How is overall software updates on Moto? I kinda want to give it go just for the old days greatness lol. And this phone except for curved screen is kinda steal for the price.
Interesting comparison between two of the first 200MP camera smartphones! They really trade blows with each other, having similar specs and whatnot. Motorola can really achieve higher in the global market if they improve their marketing, they've been delivering a lot of good phones nowadays!
If you compare the same storage 12gb and 256gb of each there is €50 in the difference as the base variant of the Motorola has 12gb 256gb. Personally, I don't think 128gb (like the base variant of the Xiaomi 12t pro) is enough these days but it's a pity Motorola didn't launch an 8gb 256gb variant to bring the price down another €50. Motorola just need to sort out the video focus and stabilisation (if they can) and it will be really excellent.

So it should and Motorola probably would want it go up against other ultras...😜 The 12T Pro is a budget flagship and I'm 100% sure Xiaomi never thought about it going up against ultras... Metal frame.... it's an "Ultra flagship"😜 As for the throttling i would rather be thrown out of the game then having below par to garbage gaming session, Xiaomi should never do what other manufacturers do, keep things as is.... If you want a gaming device from Xiaomi they have plenty ✌️✌️✌️😜
Who cares if it's called Ultra, it has a 1080p display and no periscope telephoto lens, cost only 900€ and you think it's an Ultra flagship? Motorola just gives more than Xiaomi, even for the budget and midrange phones now. The Motorola isn't 150€ more expensive in reality, the RUclipsr compared the base model, that means 128/8 for the Xiaomi, and 256/12 for the Motorola, if both are 256/12, the Motorola would be only 50€ more expensive. Software updates can easily fix the issues with the cameras and palm rejection.
Motorola gives metal frame even on their 600€ Edge 30 Fusion, what kind of logic is that, only Ultra flagships have metal frames? Nothing Phone, Galaxy S22, iPhone SE, iPhone 14, Asus Zenfone 9, IQOO 10, Realme GT2 Pro aren't Ultra flagships and have metal frames. You're just trying to find excuses for the Xiaomi. You even accept the Xiaomi getting hot to 51°C and kicking you out of a game. The Motorola's approach is better, it stays cooler, and even if the game runs at 45 fps, you can still play, we're not talking about playing at 10 fps...
Im not sure I can cope with the edge screen.... I think I will go with the xiaomi.... would have gone with the motorola if it had a flat screen... For me the most important thing is the screen, since is the main information transmitter to the user, so it needs to be excelent
Who ever plays game on mobile for a long time with out using cooler?. If you are a gamer definitly thermals is one of you prio. I think thats why xioami didnt throttle it chip down.
im using xiaomi 12T pro right i play genshin impact max graphic setting around 2 hour and never get 45'c 2 hour playing...and battery die around 5 hour 15minute
Still a very hot chip. But you'll find the guys that went to shill with Qualcomm in Hawaii will say otherwise that it's a cool running chip it isn't and I've reviewed many now.
Samsung ruined flagship smartphones by starting the edge display trend. Give me a flat display flagship phone with good main, ultrawide and telephoto sensors, don't need a Macro.
Technicaly LG was first smartphone brand with curved oled display in mainstream market(Lg Flex) not Samsung. All main features of Samsung 22ultra are LG patented and I mean ALL.
i dont agree with your conclusion bro! why do you need wireless charge? when you have 120 watts include in the box and the phone it self is budget friendly.
I wish i knew about motorla's edge 30 ultra before getting my samsung s22 ultra 😭 sure i know my phone is top of the line in the android market but it's honestly stupidly expensive totally not worth the price
There are really 3 things about Xiaomi that I sincerely like and that all Android manufacturers should copy: - The possibility of choosing between 60, 90 and 120 hertz, for me the middle ground is 90 hertz - The new hybrid resolution of the screen, a bit like iPhones, a resolution that provides a display sharpness almost equivalent to WQHD but with the energy consumption of FHD - And the flat screen in 2.5D, with the finesse achievable today on the edges of screens, curved screens really no longer have any meaning. On the other hand, Xiaomi really has to stop with its USB-C 2.0🤦🏽♂️ And everyone should copy the Asus and Sony system which allows the smartphone to be powered directly without going through the battery 🔋 when it is charging and you are using it.
In general I don't trust in the motorola system, they are not a big phone company anymore and I their recent reputation isn't the best either , it feels like how LG was in their last few year , Miui is far from perfect too but I used it for 3 years and honestly I have no problem with it , the phone itself also better than the Motorola cause let's be real who charge their phone wireless when you can charge it up in 20min with the adapter? Also 99% of people don't use PC to transfer data these days cause 128/256gb is enough for most people , and anything above 8gb of ram is useless and a waste of money, the soc will be outdated when the apps will actually need 12-16gb of ram, it is just pointless and a way to drain people's wallet, 6gb is already enough for most thing , maybe a few game is an exception , 8gb will be enough in the next 3-4 year too
750 British pounds though. I 'd buy one over the Xiaomi with MIUI 13 any day. You know why I hate MIUI now? It's because I realized that Xiaomi does not mean getting a new version of Android if you get a MIUI upgrade. Eg. Pad 5 MIUI 13 is based on Android 11 MI 12 MIUI 13 is based on Android 12. So you can expect to get MIUI 14 on your MI 12 to be based on Android 12 still instead of Android 13. Oh, and you don't get video out on USB C AT ALL! Xiaomi has good hardware muscles. But this mindset and service concepts are still lagging and stuck in the Chinese market.
That's so true about MIUI and the lack of type-c video out seems to be something they don't want to bring to us. Well only in the new Blackshark gaming phone.
no headphone jack no sdcard slot no money. yes a galaxy a51 is a better phone, a phone that ... phones better is simply the better phone think about what you do on a phone, for someone with a PC and a tablet with a really good display I use my phone as an mp3 player and for calls (discord, long family calls on signal, quick calls outside), how good the pictures a phone can take id not dependant on the hardware nor the software it's you, yes if the photos you take are bad it's a you problem... and gaming... on a phone lmao either grow up or visit a psychiatrist mobile games are pay to win gacha trash I simply choose not to support anti consumer moves and not join the ignorant masses EVEN IF IT MEANS NOT HAVING A PHONE IN THE FUTURE it's about sending a message (⌐■-■)

Now i have a edge 30 pro .....it's buggier than miui . I had almost no bugs in my miui phone personally ....but maan my brightness changes to low in sunlight with the sensor turned off !!!!! And it has a lot of "fatal bugs" like this . I also have purple tint on this shitty tianma oled motorola chose to go with...after i manage to sell this shitty moto i ll go back to xiaoshit cuz it's better overall
@@adrian2ka46 Chill nerd...
@@keyvand.7667 I m pretty chill man . All good
@@adrian2ka46 That's good. Now you just have to like Motorola.
@@keyvand.7667 When they will fix bugs and solve the update cycle problem and use better display that does not burn my eyes and better battery then i will have no problems to buy moto again . But my last device disappointed me very bad and it was flagship.
will u sir by any chance, review realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition?
Great but unfair comparison, I'm sure even Motorola wouldn't want this comparison, it's an "Ultra flagship "....
So it should and Motorola probably would want it go up against other ultras...😜
The 12T Pro is a budget flagship and I'm 100% sure Xiaomi never thought about it going up against ultras...
So obviously feature wise the Motorola wins,
USB 3.0 , video out, desk mode and better audio quality...
Metal frame.... it's an "Ultra flagship"😜
As for the throttling i would rather be thrown out of the game then having below par to garbage gaming session, Xiaomi should never do what other manufacturers do, keep things as is....
@@d.shadocx9277 I get Motorola Edge 30 Ultra 12-256 in the Lenovo oficial web for 618€
hello thanks for review i ask about PUBG mobile support 90fps ?
Does the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra support Aptx HD ?
Others testers did not have overheating issues while gaming. Is Xiaomi quality control the issue here as they may be letting duds goto market?
Here in Serbia, Xiaomi is just 30e cheaper. So clear winner is Motorola.
Unless you have some bias towards xiaomi's then I don't know why people wouldn't go the moto.
Xiaomi 12t pro screen looks a lot sharper . As it's almost 2k res ... speakers are also lot better . Only issue is bad front camera and usb 2.0
2k res? Haha Motorola 144hz more nota, better software, better front camera😂😂
How about skipper the ond 1+ 10t to the Motorola edge 30 ultra
850 for motorola? How. In uk now is 650 with 256 gb. Is it worth it buying on this price?
this is the perfect comparison 🎉🎉🎉 I'll chose Motorola Edge 30 Ultra because I hate MIUI 🙂
Im not sure I can cope with the edge screen.... I think I will go with the xiaomi.... would have gone with the motorola if it had a flat screen... For me the most important thing is the screen, since is the main information transmitter to the user, so it needs to be excelent
The Edge Ultra is the global version of the X 30 pro?
They can have a little thick mobile. But, what's the meaning of removing 3.5 mm jack !!
Are you australian?
I'm pretty sure he is.
Can i have the wallpaper link of the Xiaomi. Thanks!
Motorola Edge 30 ultra is such a beautiful device ❤
The only channel one should see with mkbhd.
Pixel 7 or Moto Edge 30 ?
Qual desses e melhor de câmera na sua opinião???
edge 40 pro motorola vs xiaomi 12t pro???
Xiaomi has a better ecosystem tho keep that in mind of u are using a combo such as wireless earbuds and smart watch
Who ever plays game on mobile for a long time with out using cooler?. If you are a gamer definitly thermals is one of you prio. I think thats why xioami didnt throttle it chip down.
Why have you disliked your video in the sound test lol
Xiaomi 's support is better if not miles ahead. Motorola just release phones and forget about them.
im using xiaomi 12T pro right i play genshin impact max graphic setting around 2 hour and never get 45'c 2 hour playing...and battery die around 5 hour 15minute
They both throttle fiercely. Touch choice
why are you hating so much on xiaomi ?!
xiaomi is more universal you know, and also the best in price and repair services .
So you work for them? It sure sounds like it.
@@Techtablets it’s not working for them 😂 it’s just to harsh on them
I thought the 8+ Gen 1 didn't have the overheating issues...
Still a very hot chip. But you'll find the guys that went to shill with Qualcomm in Hawaii will say otherwise that it's a cool running chip it isn't and I've reviewed many now.
@@Techtablets I've seen videos of the Xiaomi 12S Pro and it stayed cool (around 38° C), threw 30 min of Genshin Impact, COD and Pub G.
I love curved displays and wish more phones had them. I don’t want to have to buy flagships just to get a curved screen
I wish curved screens were illegal. They look great but are a pain to live with.
@@gloriouskatatsumuri totally agreee. More sensitive for crash !
I personally think that the mi 12s ultra is the best flagship overall
Oh. That's very irrelevant.
Concordo, porém ele é bem mais cara e não possui versão global
There is video auto focusing issue on moto edge 30 ultra....
You know all the years ive been watching you i just realized that you can pulloff a simon cowell cosplay. XIAOMI NUMBA 1. NC VID SIMON
😂😂😂
Awesome
Samsung ruined flagship smartphones by starting the edge display trend. Give me a flat display flagship phone with good main, ultrawide and telephoto sensors, don't need a Macro.
Flat displays at king!
Technicaly LG was first smartphone brand with curved oled display in mainstream market(Lg Flex) not Samsung. All main features of Samsung 22ultra are LG patented and I mean ALL.
@@dado380 still, Samsung implemented it on almost all their top tier phones for a long time making it a trend.
@@dado380 flex aint curved side but a bended design
Omfggg i hate that their removing head phone jacks and sd card slots. Like how am i supposed to LIVE?!?!?!?😭😭😭😭💔💔💔
yoo comparing the design of flagship with non flagship phone ???
if the have the same video quality i could choose motorola, but its garbage, still prefer xiaomi.
i dont agree with your conclusion bro! why do you need wireless charge? when you have 120 watts include in the box and the phone it self is budget friendly.
Why not make videos in 60 fps?
My Sony A6400 doesn't do 4k60
I wish i knew about motorla's edge 30 ultra before getting my samsung s22 ultra 😭 sure i know my phone is top of the line in the android market but it's honestly stupidly expensive totally not worth the price
There are really 3 things about Xiaomi that I sincerely like and that all Android manufacturers should copy:
- The possibility of choosing between 60, 90 and 120 hertz, for me the middle ground is 90 hertz
- The new hybrid resolution of the screen, a bit like iPhones, a resolution that provides a display sharpness almost equivalent to WQHD but with the energy consumption of FHD
- And the flat screen in 2.5D, with the finesse achievable today on the edges of screens, curved screens really no longer have any meaning.
On the other hand, Xiaomi really has to stop with its USB-C 2.0🤦🏽♂️
And everyone should copy the Asus and Sony system which allows the smartphone to be powered directly without going through the battery 🔋 when it is charging and you are using it.
Does the smartphone to be powered directly apply to all Asus current models ZenFones or just the rogs?
@@lukemothug All Asus since the 7
@@rolins3279 I have ZenFone 7 Pro I had no idea about that. Cheers!
Xiaomi 13t pro vs motorola 13t pro ?
Motorola edge is not good when it comes in gaming, not all games can customize the button to move it along edge, always mis touch in other games sucks
Edge 30 ultra is really nice phone!!!!
12:38 guess u didn't like the camera comparison😄
Please do a xiaomi 12t review there's not many reviews on it
Really thinking about buying one
Just waiting for some more reviews
The Motorola edge, 30 ultra is not available in the US
In general I don't trust in the motorola system, they are not a big phone company anymore and I their recent reputation isn't the best either , it feels like how LG was in their last few year , Miui is far from perfect too but I used it for 3 years and honestly I have no problem with it , the phone itself also better than the Motorola cause let's be real who charge their phone wireless when you can charge it up in 20min with the adapter? Also 99% of people don't use PC to transfer data these days cause 128/256gb is enough for most people , and anything above 8gb of ram is useless and a waste of money, the soc will be outdated when the apps will actually need 12-16gb of ram, it is just pointless and a way to drain people's wallet, 6gb is already enough for most thing , maybe a few game is an exception , 8gb will be enough in the next 3-4 year too
спасибо за видео сер. смотрю вас из России!!!
Motorola smash it but curved
Ok from what I see we r more of flat screen gang. So what flagship except for iPhone has flat screen in 2022?
750 British pounds though. I 'd buy one over the Xiaomi with MIUI 13 any day.
You know why I hate MIUI now? It's because I realized that Xiaomi does not mean getting a new version of Android if you get a MIUI upgrade.
Eg. Pad 5 MIUI 13 is based on Android 11
MI 12 MIUI 13 is based on Android 12.
Flat is the best vs curve is ugly
Why disliked your own video??
Mistake
Motorola gana 🏆
The curved screen is a deal breaker for me....
no headphone jack no sdcard slot no money. yes a galaxy a51 is a better phone, a phone that ... phones better is simply the better phone think about what you do on a phone, for someone with a PC and a tablet with a really good display I use my phone as an mp3 player and for calls (discord, long family calls on signal, quick calls outside), how good the pictures a phone can take id not dependant on the hardware nor the software it's you, yes if the photos you take are bad it's a you problem... and gaming... on a phone lmao either grow up or visit a psychiatrist mobile games are pay to win gacha trash I simply choose not to support anti consumer moves and not join the ignorant masses EVEN IF IT MEANS NOT HAVING A PHONE IN THE FUTURE it's about sending a message (⌐■-■)
Watching this on a 12t I got today lol.
Thinking about going with the xiaomi im getting a free xiaomi robot vacum cleaner worth 250€
I see you've disliked your own video. Why is that?
Lastly I can't stand these screen print readers. If you fingers are slightly dirty it doesn't work.

I'm not a fan of the curved screens myself.
