    I can’t decide to get the nexstar 6se or the 8se

      Personally I find the 8” to be the perfect size. 6” is a bit too small to have the necessary light gathering power for some faint deep sky objects, and larger scopes are not very portable. 8” fits well in most cars and is manageable for one person.

      ​@champinsoccer9 skyalign allows you to align your telescope by pointing at any bright objects in the night sky....starsense is a auto alignment camera which you need to purchase 🔭

      @@champinsoccer9 there are TWO different star sense devices now. The StarSense AutoAlign and StarSense AutoGUIDER. The former is the one that is strictly for visual while the latter is the one you would want to conduct astrophotography.
      SkyAlign, as the other @Nottsboy24 stated, is a feature of the hand controller that is a guided alignment that you conduct using your eyes through the eyepiece rather than the automatic process done by a camera with the two StarSense products.
