@@covertcamping2023almost none.Besides the differences you mentioned the more expensive version looks way cooler because of different camuflage options(if that matters for you)and the material is softer and easier to fold and pack,that's all.

Its not like the video is asking you to consider anything.
Will campfire embers burn this product? If so, adding a flame retardant to your next model would be great. My plan for this would be to use around the campfire in the evenings.
anytime people advertise DWR its pretty much PFAS. if you want a similar product without DWR just look for them to use PU (polyurethane instead), in most cases over nylon. See the bivanorak.
How would you close it then ? You could sew velcro on the inside so that you can stick them together. But at that point I guess using the swagman as a sleeping bag liner is a better option moneywise.

Considering that the video is over 1 year old and even now their official Polish distributor does not have a black option, I would guess no. Hwesta.eu lists colour options as adaptive green, Camogrom, coyote, Flektarn and PenCott wildwood. However, this is meant as a poncho liner and Helikon's actual poncho has a black colour variant so you can kind of wear this in black.
I've allowed my wife to shoot me directly in the chest with a water hose, and my clothes underneath stayed dry. If she would have shot me for 20 minutes straight maybe I would have gotten wet, but in the 20 second test with full blast water nozzle I stayed dry underneath.

Does it come with 2 different bags to carry it, or is it 2 different products? When I tried to put an order, the seller asked me if I want the full package or only the insulation. I can understand that the rain poncho comes as a different product, but I got confused on the Swangman roll itself. Is it 2 different parts, where 1 is the insulation, then 2 is the outside and the 3d comes as an extra item to buy (the rain poncho)? Can you help me please? Thanks in advance
@@greekveteran2715 I've never EVER heard of a seller asking "if i want regular or insulation" when ordering a swagman roll. I own two and not even on helikons actual website do they offer that option. It may however be because they recently released a new product called the swagman basic or something along those lines. Its a less expensive version that basically looks like your run of the mill wooby that is also a poncho. To answer your first question about the different bags: the sleeping bag looking bag is the sack that comes with the swagman roll upon purchase. The square looking bag is the swagman roll after its been stuffed inside its OWN chest pocket/pouch. I tried to save space by using the chest pocket instead of the sack but it makes zero difference in my bag. So I always keep it inside the sack it comes with. Hope this helps.

As for the poncho used by S.A.S., it is 200 x 150 cm, while our swagman is 200 x 145 cm, so it will be back to back.

Is waterproof ??
It has resistance to light rain. For larger raindrops, a poncho should be attached.
