This song makes me think a lot... I wish I could convey all it stirs inside the meaning of being a Benjamin an what it means to understand this song in a way I just can not explain but you did this more justice than the original IMO and I love your version better than the original as the softness of your tone an the manor in which you conducted this cover is amazing. Leo is blind and badly scarred, Raph is missing an eye and Mikey has lost an arm. This song goes well with Leo because of what he’s lost and how he’s lost his way in life, whereas the unknown soldier cover goes with Mikey because he’s wishing he could go back in time to when he was happy.

Amazing harmonized singing, but the words didn't collide at the right timing. Some more focus is needed on the audio tracks. You are great at Breaking Benjamin covers, but you should try a song with more angst in the rhythms, such as Slip Away by Dry Cell. In my opinion the art of music is ruined when one weakens the meaning of a song through the terms of lyrics, though. You'd have been better off singing that one verse with pride instead of changing it with fear. It's not the same thing as The One by Theory Of A Deadman (that was just an awkward and maybe even irresponsible line to write into the song, and it is more righteous in a song like Hero Of War by Rise Against). I feel changing lyrics is as disrespectful as putting a cover of a great song in a commercial instead of the original version (Good Time by Owl City ft. Carly Rae Jepsen); Not to be confused with putting a great cover of a (meh) song in a commercial.

It's the only way to improve. The one and only reason we made it this far. It's one thing to bash someone but there was nothing wrong with this critique. To not know the difference means you are incredibly brainwashed. There is a reason most people aren't doing what Eli is doing. You think he didn't take criticism along the way? By the way I don't mind the word change (my opinion). Just commenting on criticism in general, it doesn't make you look good when you reply with zero substance and negativity to a well structured and thought out criticism.
