If you worked for the previous liberal DA and said nothing, you should be fired. You're part of the swamp. Let's hope the new DA does her job and make it safe to live and visit SF again. Vote out the mayor and governor as well. We're looking at law and order in the rear view mirror.
I’m glad shes alive to complain meanwhile my niece DIED on 7/09/22 of pink fentanyl in the tenderloin in San Francisco due to the lack of city officials keeping crap off SF streets.
Ummm its always going to be on the streets your niece was clearly a junky who would have died either way . hate when people blame others for their family members choosing to do drugs lol
Well, they just caught a big Fentanyl dealer in the Tenderloin, and the new DA is actually prosecuting them, unlike Boudin who didn't prosecute a single Fentanyl dealer. So, sadly too late for your niece, but maybe some people will be saved from a similar fate.
As someone who works but doesn't live in San Francisco, I support DA Jenkins' work so far, little by little you see police doing their job since they know that instead of being questioned on their work they'll have a DA office that would prosecute all of these thugs who been ruining the City for the past 4 years. Happy that there's one less excuse to make the City the beautiful, joyful and welcoming place it was once.
We went to SF Market square area last week after haven’t been there in over a year, and despite living in the Bay Area, my family was avoiding trips to SF due to overwhelming homeless encampments, drug use on the streets, and crime that was apparent. I was shocked how much cleaner, very few homeless, no tent on the sidewalk, and the cops were very visible, one even asking us if we needed directions as we trying to find a particular office building. All I can say is I saw a huge improvement over the ,last few years, maybe treating the police as the enemy but as a coworker is the better tactic.
Alexandra is with the old DA letting the criminals run around freely in our city. Glad the new DA stands up for laws and letting our police to do their work.
I left a job when I didn't agree with my new boss, where was my interview? Who cares what this person thinks, there was a reason Boudin was recalled. Because your old boss didn't know what a District Attorney does.

Being a progressive prosecutor is a contradiction. You become a prosecutor to prosecute criminals and give justice to victims by keeping criminals in prison for a long time. That’s the victims justice system.
Progressive prosecutor isnt a contradiction. Just by going of what this video says: more prosecution of police equates to being more progressive. In this case the DA did a surprise and extreme move by no longer prosecuting police at all. (EDIT: The video description apparantly says the cases are being assigned to different prosecutors, they arent being dropped (yet)) In my opinion, police need to be held accountable because we have evidence of their ability for corruption.
0:43 Assistant DA Alexandra Grayer claims: "Every single attorney who was investigating and prosecuting police officer cases previously is no longer doing so." This is a big deal because it makes it seem as if all those cases were dropped, but it is vague. In the description for this video, it says that those cases were assigned to others, meaning that those cases will still be prosecuted on. Also why is such an important piece of information not in the video and instead in the uncited description? Anything uncited nowadays = lie. So this is a very interesting story but no conclusions can be made yet. Not enough pieces to the puzzle.
You have to weed out the bad apples before cleaning up the entire department and start over with something new. The past wasn't getting it done, results relief answers or resolve. Kim Fox is hiring in Illinois if she really wants to be a crime fighter.
Thank god, finally a new DA with guts.
She mad cuz the new DA wants to let the police actually do their jobs. 🤣
Bye, felicia. And don't let the door hit you on the way out.
You still had a job. It's about upholding the law, it's not about you . Do your freaking job
I am glad she quit, she should have been fired
I am glad the new DA doesn't do what a progressive DA should do. Bad blood in the old SF DA's office has to go.

A Pro Cop anti-criminal! Finally!
These are the prosecutors that turned a blind eye to injustice. I wonder why they even have a job,

Preach. So true. I support Jenkins and the rule of law. Don’t commit crimes.
