It's crazy that you have 2 centaurians in your family at the great grandparents level. That is very uncommon.

Even crazier still is that I also had a 3rd-great grandmother who lived to be 102! Family story is she spent her last years hanging out on a porch drinking Blackberry Brandy.

It's so interesting to hear other people's history. It's cool that there are other Jewish families that arrived around the same time as some of my triple grandparents did.

Wow! You have such an interesting industrious family. You were so fortunate that all the names were recorded accurately, given the amount of movement from nation to nation. I found your history so complete and fascinating, especially as there really were quite a few name changes taking place. Fortunately these were in the US and were well-recorded. If they had migrated and had had very alien-sounding names, I almost guarantee the names would have been changed by immigration officers. That happened to my great grandfather who entered England as a refugee from Russia. Because the immigration officer present was unable to spell my grandfather's name. Also my grandfather was only 16 and spoke no English, said officer allotted him a very common English name which stuck. We are now having a terrible problem locating that side of our family because we do not have a correct name.

You have such an interesting family history!!!
I could see some of your aunts faces in my grandma, she has a very low % of Jewish ancestry in her DNA but we haven't been able to trace where it came from.

I've been binge watching you videos. I don't know how I got here but I find them very interesting. I'm sure you know this but with a surname like Nunes Vaz I would look at the possibility that your great-granddad has Portuguese Sephardic Jew ancestry. They were forced to leave for Amsterdam in the 15th century and 16th century and that surname e very Portuguese. I should know, I live here.

So, I just another of your vlogs where you refer the fact that the Nunes Vaz came from Portugal, so ignore my comment!
