- John "Shoes" Moshoeu was a South African soccer player who was part of the 1996 winning AFCON Bafana Bafana team. Shoes, as he was best known to fans, was born in Ga Mashashane, Limpopo and grew up in Diepkloof, Soweto. Ali Bacher spoke to him before he passed away in 2015.
