This easily serves as a proof of concept for a limited series set in the Resistance universe (Or even a spin off game, much in the same vein as Metro: Exodus achieved, where we journey with a party across America, Europe or Africa and wether the Chimeran threat as best we can)
Hell Yeah! I’d even be down for prequels where you play in various theatres in Europe early on in the Chimeran War. Or maybe during the 1930s where you play as a younger Dr. Malikov fighting across isolationist Russia trying to contain the early threat before it breaks out into the wider world. Would explain more of his backstory and explain the Cloven since they never tied up the loose ends with that subplot.
watching this in 2017, missing the good old days of playing resistance 1 and 2. I bought resistance 3 and finished it with a a couple days buying it. These games provided so much joy to me and it's so sad to reminisce about the memories made on these games but know that it'll never be the same. It will be missed all the cooperative games played just to grind through to get epic upgrades and skills. Such an underrated trilogy, now we're left with this call of duty shite that kills great games like this just cause 12vies and other bandwagons can't understand a great game with a sick story like this one... THANK YOU resistance for the memories you've made for me and all the late nights that ended with me playing until the early mornings. Thank you so much😔❤️

Unless Sony wants a remastered or new game in that universe. Resistance 3 sold only 100,000 copies in the first month, yet it got FPS of the year, better than BF3 and CoD:MW3. The Resistance games are such an under appreciated series.

Resistance had a significantly unique plot and setting that I adored I loved the helplessness of resistance 3,taking the fight to the chimera in resistance 1 and 2 and retribution I hope they come out with a remaster or even a spin off of the series set before the ending of 3 that would be pretty cool see a survival game( I know it’s linear campaign) set during the time of resistance 2 or in between resistance 2 and 3 I loved this game so much especially the multiplayer

Not even destiny games has a legit 8 player Co-op except for those stupid raids that doesn't even have legit matchmaking. Man where did it all go wrong? More people should have supported the resistance series.... I know I did. And we need a resistance movie already I'm surprised one was never made...it would be a perfect blend of action/eerie/creepyness if done right. A resistance movie could have it all.

man I love this trailer and song (Masters of War cover by the Staple Singers) but just now am I realizing how little it makes sense that a train is being ran and moved through the country as humanity is decimated by the Chimera. You'd think the Chimera would easily be able to spot this train and know it must have humans within it to actually conduct the train. The train isn't some futuristic AI train or a Chimera train, so it must be conducted and driven by another human.

Though, I wonder if this will take place earlier too cause, given the way the sky looked, it doesn't look like it was taking place in whatever galaxy the Earth was teleported to at the end of 2. Also he got discharged for killing hale, whom many people see him as a hero. although i dont know if he explained the reason for killing hale maybe they wouldn't have kicked him out

The invasion of America was too impersonal just having the fleet constantly decimating everything. I was hoping R3 would go to Grayson in Russia. Don't get me wrong I know the critics loved it. Just as a fan Resistance 2 fell on it's ass similar to World at War did. I missed fighting in a WW2 setting. The invasion of America was too impersonal just having the fleet constantly decimating everything.
I was hoping R3 would go to Grayson in Russia. It's disappointing that insomniac is focusing on America.
