This was my first ever snowboarding trip (1999), I'm from West Oz, and have snowboarded around the world since, looking forward to coming back in 2024!!!
I’ve been going to falls creek since I was 5 month old and been skiing since I was 3 it is an incredible resort for all family’s with kids and we go up almost every year

I noticed at 3:26 you mention double black runs at falls creek, which runs would those be? the official map doesnt seem to list any double black runs
I live there and there not marked as dub blacks but they are it’s just not to scare beginners

Mid August, we don’t think you can ride them yourself but can go on a snowmobile tour with a guide.

Has to be our favourite resort in Australia, just spent the weekend there hiking the maze and the summit to get the fresh turns.
I think last 2 years the weather has been warmer. I dont think people can ski in Sept unless its colder than normal.
