I have always been living in Hong Kong, but when I first took a visit to Macau in the late 80's, I was amazed by its tranquillity and lay back atmosphere. I just wonder how much it would cost for your handheld camcorder? Back in the 80's I could rarely see people with a handheld cam!
Macau didn't changed as much as I expected really. Instead it has just became way, way too commercialized nowadays. This quaint-yet-exotic feel in the film is long gone.
I am very sick of today's Macau, too many Casinos! That was disguising why gambling is such a damn massive industry! ?Remember the foundation of Macau was western Catholic goes to China to preach Christianity to Chinese! China will be alot of different and less suffering in the last 200 years if we accepted Christianity! Jesus our Lord is at our doorstep and we just ignored him and even today we just cares gambling that bloody stupid game! I am Chinese and I think sometimes our tragedies were inflicted by our own, shame on us and shame on all those gamblers! You guys were losers!!
It will change more soon than you think as Japan wants also legalizing the gamble industrial.at the moment macanise people are very lucky as it is the only place in Asian where gambling is permitted.
