    Nice catch! I read only "Heidelberg" first and thinks do you mean this city here in Germany ...
    I not see often firefighter control the traffic in the U.S. videos - why the firefighter not use a lamp with red/green light for signal to the traffic for stop/go? Wonderful the good place for stay! The most police cars stay wrong inside the lane! The overtaking before the smaller street is good too - I just wonder why the many POV's not stops direct at side. They transport normally one firefighter with clothes, this short way they can walk with own feets too!

    Why did Rescue 64 stop short of the turn and let the other rigs pass?

      I think so the other truck could start another attack line

    • @gregw3
      @gregw3 8 лет назад +4

      Possibly for staging purposes or maybe to set up in the rear area a rehab. Staging the rescue near the rear of all the attack trucks/engines they are out of the way to lay tarps and spare air bottles. That is just a guess.

    • @QuinnDickinson2610
      @QuinnDickinson2610  8 лет назад

      Basically just another form of emergency lighting. Similar to what the Mars 888 light is used for.

    • @wturn212
      @wturn212 5 лет назад

      Quinn Dickinson-- I remember some of the clueless drivers on the road in Montgomery County, Maryland who must have been deaf and nearly blind. The sirens, beacon ray and Mars light on our ambulances had little effect in getting them to move over. The only thing that finally got there attention was a well-directed beam of light from one of our spot lights together with the siren. Those drivers would appreciate it because they may be possible emergency transports in the future.

      Its called being cautious how are they to know if its a fire or not? A
      fire doubles ever 30secs in size, wouldn't you want more equipment than
      needed than not enough?

    • @traxtortippergaming369
      @traxtortippergaming369 6 лет назад

      Christian Haupt I get it growing up with family being in the fire dept. But for reported smoke they would have been fine sending two pumps and two ladders at most. If it was needed then they send more but 4 tricks would have been fine to start. And maybe a rescue like the international at the end

      @@floodkidsgaming7430 Pretty standard for any structure fire call where I am. 4 engines, 2 ladders, 1 rescue/squad, 2 BC’s, 1 EDO and 1 Safety. Always better to disregard than to have to call more and wait while the Fire’s growing out of control. The initial attack is the most important and each of those first due company’s have a job

      +Trenton Boston where I live a structure fire gets 4 engine's (5 for a high rise), 2 truck's, 1 rescue, 1 medic, 2 battalion Chiefs, 2 EMS Supervisors, 1 command aide, and 1 duty FM, and about 95% of the structure fire calls end up being false alarms.
