Thanks so much for doing this video! We usually stay at Quarryville but recently moved near Pittsburgh. Wasn't sure if Mill Run would be as nice but judging by your video it's even nicer!!!
thanks for sharing this. we are only staying for 2 nights end of july. we live in ohio so this is new for us. we don’t wife a golf cart. we are renting a cabin. any suggestions? i hate a 6 and 3 year old
What cabin is it or what area of the camp ground? If you're not renting a cart, hoofing it up and down the hill for a couple days could be taxing on the kids, but they will probably be OK. If you are fairly close to the top part of the campground, that will help as you'll all likely want to spend a lot of time at the main water zone - and a lot of activities are held at the upper pavilion.
should add. our cabin is right near the ticket gate/ main entrance. so any suggestions on how to get to and from diff. areas. ill have a stroller for my 3 year old but other then they walking :/
@Heather Rowe So that's actually not bad ... if you look at the campground map on the campground web site, the "top" of the hill if everything on the left. You'll be able to get to that upper pavilion, playground, bears den, jumping pillow, main water zone, store, etc, with pretty flat walking. For the lower end of the campground, look for "Billy goat trail" on the map. It's got.steps and is steep but will be shorter than following the road. (Downside is you wouldn't be able to take the stroller up and down it.)
just saw your replies. thank you. yes. our cabin is one of the first ones past the main entrance / ticket gate. i did see it’s close to the store and restaurant. wish we could try longer. but my bad. i waited too long to book and it was hard finding a cabin at all.
