I have a question I have a 5.5 hp gx200 honda pressure washer that's 3700psi at 2.5 gpm it has a AAA pump can I upgrade to a self priming pump because my current pump is not self priming
I got one of them big boys right there can i use a 3/4s shaft honda engine but the pump wants a 1 inch can i use a sleeve or do i gotta use this bigger engine i have i just wanna know if i can push it
I'm looking at Pressure Washer for personal use. I was just wondering what the difference is between an AXIAL and an AXIAL CAM pump? Then there's the TRIPLEX that I understand would be on the more commercial grade washer. This is one I'm looking at SIMPSON 3,100 PSI 2.3 GPM Gas Megashot MS61217 Residential Pressure Washer, it has an AXIAL and for $50 more they have one with the AXIAL CAM. What I'm reading and seeing is the only difference is $50. I'm sure there's more to it?
Great question. We have several resources for you to check out. Despite being listed differently, there is not a significant difference between Axial and Axial Cam pumps, so in simple terms, it would be fine to think of them as essentially the same pump. It is more marketing the name than a difference in the construction of the pump. Sometimes Axial pumps are also referred to as 'Axial Flow,' which is also the same thing. 1. You can sleeve it but you wont get much more then 5hp from a 3/4. 1" usually are 10hp or more. Might be a push.
