Have my ascendant in mula. This pretty much sums up my lens in life. I find lies in everything and everywhere. And when I demand for the truth, all hell breaks loose! But it helps with my profession - journalism and writing on spirituality.

I have sun in mula and I have always been able to tell when people are lying to me since I was a little girl... and my the goddess I gravitated toward was Kali ma!!! This is a very empowering nakshastra
I've struggling with identifying what's the truth & what's not all my life. Since my childhood I've been surrounded with manipulative people to whom lies just come naturally. But this is the first time I've been able to understand the difference so simply & so elegantly. Thank you so much for this.
I come back to this video every few months because I am forever fascinated by my moon’s nakshatra. What I struggle with is what to do when I know someone is lying. Sometimes it’s helpful, other times calling out a lie causes more issues than it is worth. But I strongly desire truth, I need it in all aspects of my life, all the time. It’s exhausting for people who don’t need that, and take beauty over truth. Finding that balance for myself is ever-evolving.
Yes this is so difficult for me as well. How to approach a situation when you KNOW someone is lying. How to explain that it isn’t accusation from personal insecurity but the feeling of just KNOWING the truth? It’s so hard for me to watch a lie unfold and people put on acts without me calling them out. Like a literal force from within will push me to speak up lol
In my experience, it is through the moon. Through intuition, the red flags that pop up and say "pay attention." Unfortunately, at least in my younger years, I have not trusted this guidance system like it would have served me to trust it. Sun, Venus, Neptune in Mula

I have my ketu in mula and I got my degree in chemistry with an emphasis on forensics. People just openly tell me their lies but when I search for lies I just find a never ending pit of them. So I have stopped looking for them and instead searching for whats true and the results have been much more pleasant😄

What an interesting way to talk about mula. I’ve never heard this sutra come up but it’s amazing. I can tell when people are lying, but it sucks because other people can’t, and then I look crazy for not believing something so many people are falling for. And as for the social and family life, I haven’t had an easy time in either of those. I have little desire for social interaction unless it’s focused on spirituality, astrology, life meaning and questions, tarot, etc. I have always been more compatible with people who are 40+ who can have these conversations and wisdom. My life has been full of destruction and transformation, and I value the part of mula that gives that because I do think I’m wise beyond my years (yet simultaneously very naive in some areas).

I understand this so well. I have 4 conjunctions in this Nakshatra 😩 I feel like a walking lie detector and it can be so tiring to always sense things lol sometimes I wish I didn’t care lol
I am a psychic intuitive and Tarot reader. I have a strong religious background and had to destroy those roots to find myself and it was unexceptionable in my families eyes. But it is the truth and had to get to the bottom of it. In relationships and my readings I have a nack to get to the roots of the issues and truths that needs to be realized and seen. I would caution--as someone who has had to break free of, and look outside of constricting, wooden belief structures--don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. People can develop a knee-jerk reaction to the system/orthodoxy/structure they had to break away from, when it may hold some valuable truths, still. The myth of Loki and the idea of what is tossed aside, will be the vessel upon which the Heavens are assaulted--is a wise thing to consider

I have Sun in Mula too :-) I have a hard time keeping my thoughts to myself when I can sense people lying. I tend to be the one that calls BS on that kind of stuff. It does affect your social life, people who talk untruth really don't like having it pointed out! I have a few close friends who really value my honesty. It took me years to find them though. I went through many friendships that didn't last, because ultimately the lies become too much to tolerate. Oddly enough, people often come to me for advice. I have had people twice my age and even superiors at work come to me for advice. Even people who don't like my frankness, will still periodically call me up to ask my advice. So I would love to know if this happens to you too? Maybe its a Sun in Mula thing lol :-) I will always choose the truth over a lie even if it's a hard or painful truth. Also, fake or shallow people make my stomach churn, I have no time for them at all and I tend to get dismissive and frustrated it I have to hear them speak for too long. I love real people, honest people, raw people who show themselves and choose to be seen for who they really are. Those people are the bomb :-) They are the only people I have close relationships with :-)
Things get different when we go deep , my sun is 7th lord kicking in 11th house(social circle) in Mula , though I have also Ketu in ascendant which make things more hermitian .

I’m amazed with the dichotomy of this Nakshatra and it’s meaning, I have Venus in Mula, and damn I have zero tolerance for lies.. I have this in 2nd house, hate lies in communication and even worse when others would not admit it. Now, I just call out the lie and don't participate in liars dance on hot pan trying to avoid it. That stops them dead in their tracks as it shows their show is over.
I find it even more difficult in personal situations where the nature or personal relationships is truth-trust-intimate bond and persistent lying strikes right at its core. And you can't develop healthy relationship just because other one doesn't understand what lying is doing to his life and the relationship with others. They are anyway doomed but the mula Nakshatra are unnecessarily entangled in their mess. Ultimately, the more they lie and don't admit, the more sharper and cutting words mula Nakshatra uses to cut through the myriad of lies. Making it worse emotionally for all involved.
It's critical for mula Nakshatra to check the level of lies and admission, trust and transparency in other people in personal relations before they form a deep bond. Go for authentic ones who want transparency themselves.

Quite a good but simple analysis of Truth Vs Lies. Lies are very complex and not that easily to expose or the world around us would have been quite simple which it is not as we all experience throughout our lifetimes. Truth is the only liberator but most difficult to practice and the easy but temporary escape that lies provide is practiced the most.

What a succinct and beautiful description..truth has childish innocence about it and doesn't defend itself..lies are easily defeated..we don't need complex strategy for it. If you are finding it difficult to defeat it then maybe your are attacking the truth...But from my personal experience I'll tell you this is Kaliyuga..truth will need to prove itself and defend itself or be defeated by lies..I HV had big ass liars throw this saying of Satyamev jayate on my face..when they were the ones who were lying all this while.

I guess that's why I've been so obsessed with studying psychoanalysis by myself and read Jung and Nietzsche and Baudelaire and pre-socratic people since I was very young... i found kind of a singular voice speaking throughout the ages and cultures, speaking of something very mysterious (i didnt know what it was but i could feel it was true) As a child i couldn't find a single adult who would have reasonable answers to my many questions around life and death, death being my main obsession as a kid... Adults usually would make me shut up, "You're talking nonsense!" ... Fear is what creates lies, and under fear is ignorance... My mom used to say that I'm reinventing the wheel... but I think it's something that Mula does: it digs to know the truth through experience, experimenting it by oneself through the body and the senses and the soul... the soul needs truth... I guess for me the biggest challenge had been to let go of the wrath, leave people where they are and accept that they have their own path, that I might be ignorant why they chose such a life where they have to mingle with lies, that I don't have to force nor convince anybody...

Wow very interesting video! I have a mula asc. and definitely identify with having a critical discernment that others usually find helpful but also tend to sabotage myself in my own relationships a lot by maybe feeling compelled to always be on the lookout for that un-truth. I would ask does this nakshatra enhance a person's ability or instinct to discover truth? I tend to question myself much more if its a matter that involves me..like it doesnt function as well if there is a bias involved or im not as willing to trust it.

Thank you. I was very excited to see that you recorded and shared this video. Mula is on my ascendant when I was a child and tried to lie - the lies never quite added up and I was always caught. I lived a lie for a while and gave into alcoholism. Now I have begun to remove all the lies and the veils that have blocked who I truly am from the world. I have loved discovering and sharing my truth with the world. I have been surprised by who and what has fallen away and who has grown closer to me as a result of my personal growth. Thanks for enlighten us through your work , truly appreciated it ,My Saturn is in Mula , I am new starting to understand the Nakshatras, this Nakshatra is so pure that ones we received this so profound insight , not just we can not conform with deception but we are very aware not to deceived our core essence or inner light and if we do our human biology can get sick, Lately my approach is that unless necessary I don’t correct any one, I may do it gently with my daughter or closest love ones but when comes to spiritual human interpretations or individual spiritual methods of other people if my core light insight finds deception, I walk away an apologetically with out giving any explanation, my hall organism embodies Mula embodies it ,

I used to get defensive even when speaking the truth , I've been abused alot but now I am trying not be so defensive because when I am speaking the truth and someone else is upset about it then what can I do ? I don't want to hurt anyone! And it's true I'm trying to figure out what I'm here for and what I am who I am and what is it that I need to do. While still trying to survive in the world that you$ to survive in . Thank goodness for my family otherwise I'd be homeless. I´m Moon in Moola, closely conjunct the Galactic Center in the 6th house, which tells me everything (it´s like having an antenna turned in that direction) and it also obliterates people and situations around me. I can relate to all you describe regarding the difficulty to conform in society and family environments where I have always struggled to pretend that I wouldn´t notice the lies, the falsities, the illusions, the impermanence, the "loves and affections" that were never unconditional in the first place, and you name it. It is only now, after my second Saturn Return and a very painful Sade Sati, nearing its final phase, with its plentiful array of material and personal losses, and otherwise, that finally, I know who I am, so now I can understand why I suffered so much all my life being incarnated in such circumstances. It nearly turned me into a hermit, which is a relief. Ascendant in Ardra makes it all the more difficult to socialise, because of the need to pretend, and I do my best, but then I have to retire from time to time. At least now, after nearly all is gone, I can finally concentrate on where I have to be and who should be around me.

Dear Vic, more views from me. I suspect you might be sick and tired of my comments by now ;) Well, I've connected with Mūla Nakshatra energy and on the physical plane it might manifest as tendency towards blunt responses to what we consider as dishonest. We might also have tendency to be super vigilant about what others say or do as to catch them in the act. This might result in not very smooth or trusting relations with others, but that is only the physical plane. The spiritual side as always is fascinating. Once we reach higher levels of consciousness we know that WE ARE the truth. When I say 'we are' I mean our true essence and not the body and ego we commonly identify with. At that stage we don't feel a compulsive desire to prove anything to anyone any longer - no petty arguments and belittling others for having different perception of life. There is no point in fighting Maya.

He's still just a person, obviously he'll have problems like everyone. Maybe ego issues, self centeredness, self sabotage etc. Interesting nakshatra doesn't make him a god but gives him good tools or a good predisposition to handle and understand life or himself if he's willing! It's all about what HE decides, he can create a lot but he can also destroy a lot for himself. 🤷♀️

I have Saturn in Mula... and with my Shravana Venus... I literally have a BS detector 🙄 I can literally never stay in a relationship where there is denial or absurd rules that give up that nervous energy, as you very clearly articulated... Bharani Mars, also... needless to say I am very lonely in this lifetime... fortunately I found a job where the boss has integrity. That's the first time I have been able to keep a job for so long without blowing it up...
