I LOVE that your mom's German accent has a bit of a Southern twang😊😊 My Filipino aunt has a heavy accent-and she is country as heck! Very unique to say the least. So cute.

Girl your family always "cracks me up". You all play the simplest games and it's the most fun. I was there along with you'll cheering and jumping up and down. I went to middle school with Ivana, nice to see she's doing well.
FYI if You ever Burn Grits Again for a Big Crowd put it a piece of White Bread. My Dad did it when we go to Vacation Houses to Orlando even though we're Floridians lol. However it helps two pieces if it's really Bad and it takes the smell out the Grits, Pot and house. Then You know to Transfer the remaining ones to a new pot.and soak that one. I use a white potato it does the same effect takes up the funky burnt smell. There is a Difference I think Sweet Potato is more creamer and pumpkin pie taste like summer squash.

Love you all, but it is a big difference between sweet potato and pumpkin pie! Pumpkin pie is okay, but it ain't sweet (kind of Bland tasting). Sweet potato...on the other hand is the bomb digity...lol! For my family it ain't Thanksgiving without a sweet potato pie...lol! 😊Just messing with y'all! All in all to each his own, looks like you guys all had a great time!!😀🍴
