He's probably going to sell them and he doesn't want potential buyers to have the knowledge of how much he paid for them. I wouldn't tell anyone what I paid unless I was confident that I wouldn't be selling them.

Just bought new in March 2024, $3000 + great machine. Selling my Troybilt Horse. K no o comparison. Honda does purr

I paid $800 for mine from home depot
