i also had a hard time starting bungo stray dogs but once i got passed volume 3 i fell in love with the manga as well as the anime so i highly suggest giving it another go ☺
Cleaning your manga shelf is very good hygiene and however,you can find missing volumes of your favorite manga titles just to check the number of the manga.

you should read the book if u want OR if u don't want to waste ur money(I hope that this doesn't offend u), u could read it online. I've mainly asked(begged) my parents to buy the mangas for me
I understand about reading online since I know it is not accessible to many people however I have been collecting for many many years ^^ I just personally like having physical copies of my favorite series.
