Mascara is their first comeback. The alien theme started with Shooting Star followed by Left Right. A heavily R&B influenced track. Then came along these 2 tracks that are the intro on their recently released album New DNA. X-Gene is followed by GRL GVNG (Girl Gang). I got into XG by clicking on one of their thumbnails that was interesting. I'm not really an Alpha because I'm not gonna watch all the documentaries that show their complete journey. Just know they're the survivers of a kind of idol bootcamp. So it's no coincidence that they dance like a dance crew and they can all sing. Even though Jurin, Maya, Cocona and Harvey make up the Rap Unit. You started with their most recent release. I would suggest you check out Tippy toes to see how fiercely they debuted! They are primarily Japanese. Harvey is Japanese/Austrailian and Hinata is Japanese/Korean. Maya is trilingual and I believe Cocona is as well. But Maya is the English speaking spokeswoman for the group. Some might recomment you watch the tapes in order to see the rap unit and the Vox in order to see the vocalists. But by starting with this one, you won't be as surprised as I was!

I got into XG by clicking on one of their thumbnails that was interesting. I'm not really an Alpha because I'm not gonna watch all the documentaries that show their complete journey. Just know they're the survivers of a kind of idol bootcamp.
So it's no coincidence that they dance like a dance crew and they can all sing. Even though Jurin, Maya, Cocona and Harvey make up the Rap Unit. You started with their most recent release. I would suggest you check out Tippy toes to see how fiercely they debuted!
They are primarily Japanese. Harvey is Japanese/Austrailian and Hinata is Japanese/Korean. Maya is trilingual and I believe Cocona is as well. But Maya is the English speaking spokeswoman for the group. Some might recomment you watch the tapes in order to see the rap unit and the Vox in order to see the vocalists. But by starting with this one, you won't be as surprised as I was!
You say you're not an alpha, but your knowledge of the group shouts the opposite.

They’re all Japanese, using the K-pop training and promotion system. All their original songs are in English because they aim to be a global group; therefore, they consider themselves as X-Pop (not J-Pop or K-Pop.
There are 4 main rappers and 3 main vocalists. They can all dance dance as you’ve just witnessed. They do vocal covers in their VOX videos and rap tracks in their TAPE videos and dance in their MOVE videos. Their channel has so much content!!!
