    Whenever I hear Oscar play, and especially after a sublime piece such as this, I can only thank God for sharing this musical genius with us - because his gift surely comes from heaven.

    I didn't realise this was a live performance until I heard the applause at the end. Not a sound from the audience. Maybe they were just in awe of the great Oscar as I was listening to this piece. A total master of the keyboard who just had it all. Beyond superb.

    I came here through watching old videos of Michigan outdoors and I remember this song from years ago on there too. It always reminded me of watching Charlie brown(peanuts)

    O.P developed his own unique style, and we're all extremely lucky that he recorded so much, so that we have his legacy to listen to
    He could play anything in any genre

    Sometimes, soul finds a channel that is clearer than the others, through which it can flow like smooth water or scorching fire...or both at the same time. Oscar Peterson was one such channel, and this is one of many....MANY...performances that prove it.

    Тогда еще эта пьеса меня ввергла в музыкальный шок...мргла ее слушать снова и снова.
    Ну а уж Питерсон исполняет ее сногсшибательно!

    Where are the times that Jazz musicians knew how to compose, what harmony, rhythm and style is? When Oscar played, he was amongst the best of the world and I miss him and his peers so damn much, almost painful...can not believe that this time is over, or is it not? Why is it? Because all life is being rationalized, computerized, put into numbers and graphs...the society and economy wants brainz in stead of humans...24x7 economy globally....no time for musical development...only time for banks...

    • @FenceThis
      @FenceThis 6 лет назад

      There was never any " Babtiste " in Django's name. His father though, Jean Eugene Weiss went under exactly that name; Jean-Babtiste Reinhardt for a period of time when living in Paris with his wife, who's surname was Reinhardt, likely to avoid conscription for french military services.

    La presenza di Pro Vita nei consultori è volta a far meglio conoscere tutte le possibilità che ci sono per l'assistenza della donna e del nascituro in una situazione tanto delicata. È per dare un quadro completo e reale, che può rivelarsi meno buio di quello che ci si può immaginare quando il coinvolgimento emotivo può indicare solo una tra le strade possibili.
