Hi I've got the same speakers, by using the adapters like you did will it still detect as 5.1 though? Or will it detect as headphones?
@@es8944 that pins supports stereo but you'll be hearing surround sound, just give a try with exact 5.1 source, else if you can afford more get a digital converter, it'll give pure 5.1👍
@@ogcheckers thanks alot man! I don't know if this helps but I've got a 55 inch Hisense supports up to 10 channel audio with ac3 decoder, do u think converting the 3.5mm jacks to RCA will work if I plug them into the tv? It says the tv has DTS surround support. Just a thought?
@@es8944 55 inch hisense has 2 speakers and Dolby atmos, Dolby atmos for the TV speakers! So why not for this creative inspire speakers, surely you'll feel the difference.... good luck and enjoy!!

If I buy an optical to stereo converter, then connect the green and black cable (4.1 setup) to the adapter shown in the video (2 aux to one) and connect that in the converter (stereo to optical) and then connect the optical cable into my tv (from the adapter) will I get true 5.1 audio?

Not sure. Doubt it though. You’re probably only going to be able to get stereo out of it. At least from a tv.
No,it will not provide real surrounding.its only provide stereo sound (right and left surrounding).

No. You will have stereo but not 5,1.

kinds of output,
1. Aux
2. Hdmi ARC
3. Optical
4. Bluetooth
For aux, use the one as in video
For hdmi arc, use converter
For optical, use digital to analog converter
For Bluetooth, use Logitech Bluetooth receiver and the one used in video

Bro, it will not get 5.1 surround , this speaker system compatible with computer with 5.1 output card, anybody have doubts about it please contact with any computer technician, these types of speakers are only for computer , don't buy this for any other purpose like tv or music system, you can buy 5.1 or any other configuration Home theater for music or TV system not these speakers

of course, but my suggestion is if your laptop is having Bluetooth, else
1. then buy a bluetooth receiver with aux
2. connect the speaker with the pins i've shown in this video to the bluetooth receiver
