I wear glasses and everyone just assumes that everything is completely black without them or smthn.

Agreed, 100%. People also don't realize that glasses don't work completely, you still have trouble seeing anything in your peripheries because of the gaps. Then there's the difference between astigmatism, near-sightedness, and far-sightedness. Even with glasses my vision is a bit blurry if I don't wear them the right way, my eyes are really screwed up.
The reason cats have such bristly tongues is to help clean their fur, like a brush.
Wild cats will also use it to help scrape the meat off of bones.

That's because when cats lick themselves, if you didn't know, they're grooming themselves. Their tongues act as brushes/combs. But they swallow their hairs on accident sometimes, and that's how those nasty hairballs form.
