Thanks to all those that participated! I'm blown away by the ideas you made. What was your favorite, and did you like the format of the different drum loops combined with shorter ideas? Thanks! Can't wait to do the next one.
3:24 Torchyourself, 2:30 Josiah Leeper and 4:43 Ryan Perrin give me that true twinkly vibe I listen this genre for! Really good. If you guys have any bandcamp or spotify links I would gladly accept to listen to more of your music!
Hi, Josiah here! What a cool feeling to be included in a comment, thanks so much. I release music under the name Indoor Swimming, recent release is Grayscale Weather / Crisp Clarity. Hopefully these other guys have stuff out too.
Thanks a lot! I actually don't make much math rock/midewest music, but you can check out what I have here on YT. Currently in the process of finishing a death/black metal album lol after I get through that maybe I'll work on the twinkly stuff
Always love these collabs. Maybe one time I'll find the time to put something together and participate. Love the new format too. Kept things moving instead of playing over the same tracks.
Happy Birthday Cody! Damn, seeing how you move so gently and easily over the fretboard makes me wonder where i went wrong in all my years of playing and practicing, to reach this level of sleekness, suppleness, was always my goal. Had to look up those 2 terms, not sure if they are 100% accurate in English, but i hope you know what i mean. ˘J˘
@@cosylittledelusion Picked up my guitar soon after watching this video of you guys and it felt really good and even some tiny new ideas/movements/melodies....do you guys have really bad days as well, i mean, when you fingers just do not listen to you and don't fret and move as you tell them to? Or worse, even weeks or extended periods when nothing seems to make sense, improve, work as it should...... Hey, this was a great idea of you, i will definitely check you and a few others out, looking forward to it, greetings from Vienna, lars
Woahh! Although musically it is not my thing really, i sure bow in front of all of you for your amazing skills and therefor your will to practice and practice and practice and of course your imagination in melodic adventures, not sure how to phrase that properly in English. One who just absolutely blew my mind was Vlad Thn, but then again, so did basically all of you and SIMORAN, who knows what might be possible, if that insanely sweet cat of yours wouldn't try to catch your hand some day.... .. . - -

Josiah’s part was crazy good
What is Leo Tralia's youtube channel and what did he use for his tone?! That is the perfect tone to my ears for midwest emo I gotta know
❤️
Hey, thanks for the add! Figured something more chord-heavy and simple would stand out a bit more but I think everyone did an awesome job.
Thanks for the cat
How does all their tapping come through so clean 😭 I compress the shit out of my signal and it’s still quiet
My favorite was Torchyorself as 3:24
anyone have the back track drum file that steve uses for his riff the first couple seconds of the vid?? pretty sure hoffe is using it as well @0:20
