this year I was lucky my dad came home 2 days before Christmas last year and the year before he missed it, to all those whose other half are out there just remember their always in your heart.
i feel sorry for many of you. i dont have many friends in the war but my cousin just lost a close friend. It takes something special to be in the army and i luck up to them. Reading all your comments and listening to all "the soilders" songs i have tears in my eyes. Those people who have bad things to say you obv need to think harder ... just back away ... I can't pretend to have experience regarding our troops out there doing us all proud but it brings back memories of the Falklands when I was a teenager. I was lucky my boyfriend came home but his best friend did not. I have since been married twice have three beautiful children and life does go on but you never forget & you never stop crying you just learn how to cope in your on way.
