I just found your channel! And as someone who has paid off cars, credit cards, and a huge student loan using basically this same method-you just have to do what works for you and what you feel is right. The bottom line is that you’re working toward eliminating debt and you’re working hard both through actual work and financial discipline to complete your goals. People leave dumb comments on every platform known to man, and they’re rude and disconnected from reality. Keep up the good work, it’s AMAZING when you finally get there.
Loved watch this update hun! You’re killing it and balance transferring was the best thing to do to save yourself some money whilst paying it off. Doing it the smart way! 🙌🏼
Appreciate your transparency ❤ and love that you don’t get affected by other people’s opinions. You’re absolutely right… do what works for YOU. At the end of the day… it’s your money and your time. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for putting your finances out there for others. I learn from it and I know others to! We all get ourselves into different financial situations and it’s hard to know where to start. So I appreciate you!
You're doing a great job. I think the consolidation was good. The interest sometimes feeling like you move forward just to take a step back. I love your determination and hustle to get your goals accomplished 👏🏾 🎉
You are doing AWESOME! Congrats! I know what people say about consolidating debt and you know what, I did that and I have not gone further into debt and in fact made a lot of progress. I went from 106k down to 38k. I’m getting there but I want to go hard to pay this off. So I’m here cheering you on and look forward to the day you announce you are debt free. Let’s get it in 2024🎉
Alex! Youre doing amazing. I am in the same boat with my debt. I finally cancelled one of my cards because i literally COULD NOT pay it down while it was open and i was still able to spend!
Alex, I think you’re doing a wonderful job! I’m quite a bit older than you and remember trying to get out of debt. My parents were wonderful teachers to us girls about money…saving, paying bills on time, don’t get into debt. But as a young adult, I thought…”this won’t be so hard!” 😂😂😂. Learning the hard way sometimes is the best way!!! Good luck and prayers as you go on this journey with your finances……your LIFE! Thank you for your videos, they are enjoyed! 🙋🏼♀️
Keep it up girl! I’ve gotten some of the same comments so I know how you feel, everyone has their own way of doing things so whatever works for you is perfect.
I have some debt that I'm still trying to pay off. It's a process, and it is incredibly hard and frustrating to see your money going to something you wish you didn't have hanging over you. I have a whole notebook dedicated to paying it off. You'll get there. I'd do the interest free way too if I could. Good job! Keep up the good work. Proud of you for how far you have come! :)
Amazing well done, I've done the same with my credit cards..... I'm not going to use my cards ever again... Good luck with your future payments it will all be gone in no time ❤❤
Excited to watch your journey! Just wondering though, you are doing debt snowball? So once the discover card is paid off you add that $25 minimum payment to the Credit B? So then that minimum payments is $65? And then the process continues? Or are you just strictly paying minimum payments on all cards until paid off? I’m kinda I’m the same boat as you and to see someone use debt snowball would be so motivating for me. Can’t wait for the updates!
I was originally doing the snowball method. However, now that I have the balance transfer, I’m basically going to be making one solid payment that will bring my total debt down. So essentially, there’s nothing else left to snowball if that makes sense, except for things like my medical and student loan.
I think you meant to write the ending balance on the October sheet... but more importantly congrats!!! You should make it under 10K next month 🎉 Love the debt updates. (And yeah especially for store cards like Sam's Club, interest is a killer.)

Love the idea! 😊 What balance transfer card did you go with if you do t mind me asking?
Thank you! I went with Citi Simplicity! 21 months no internet on balance transfers and $0 annual fee. I heard tons of great reviews on it!
Hello, do you have a video on How to Make a Budget? I don't know how to make one. 😊
Honestly, I don't. But that's a great idea. I just might be making one here very soon!
