In 2002 my dad helped me purchase a 1999 black short box regular cab Chevrolet and I got it all fixed up. Sold that truck in 2009, Purchased a 2002 extended cab black Silverado. Sold that bought a Mercury sedan to save on gas $ for college. In 2013 I sold that car to get my future wife a Volkswagen Passat as she didn't have a car. Sold that in 2017 and bought my wife a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe for our first child. We still have that car today. In 2022 my dad died and I remembered that black truck my dad got me and could him see him smile ear to ear for me... The Silverado my dad got 20 years ago helped me get the prettiest girl in town, 3 beautiful kids, and I got a few stories to tell... Thanks Dad! ***In 2024 I bought a 1999 short box regular cab Silverado and restored it and got "it all cleaned up" in remembrance of my dad he just needs to come on by.... Needless to say that Silverado will never be for sale.
