@@fWhip Hi! I think you should consider using hopper minecart instead of the hoppers as they move items really fast. There are tutorials on how to do it. It's definitely worth making.
@@fWhip You should make an experience farm that uses allays. The allays are constantly being damaged, but they are being damaged slower than they can heal. If the allays have the infested potion effect they will spawn silverfish. You can kill all the silverfish with a potion of harming. The amount of silverfish that can be killed at a time increases with the amount of allays that have been given the infested potion effect and then damaged.
@@fWhip That sounds like a great idea actually. Maybe make some custom mangrove trees with an extensive root network and flood the whole area and then have stilt houses connected by walkways with a small pier for docking small transportation boats.
Absolutely more redstone please. This episode was a blast. Also don't worry about everything being too pitch perfect, it's ok if your redstone and storage isn't the most aesthetic thing ever. It's redstone, it's alright
Hey fwhip, a new feature in 1.21 allows you to just place regular full blocks on top of hoppers, which is definitely better than the composter situation that we all had to go through. Love the vid!!
I really like you doing technical stuff cause you're doing it at my level of comprehension. It's way better than watching a redstone genius placing things while i dont understand anything and just copying.
I have an idea on a small expansion on the massive tree, the idea is adding little worshiping areas around the tree and have like different variants of that for the dwarves, elves and maybe some humans/villagers to worship the tree like it's a deity
For more autocraft farms (that you already have) and a suggestion, maybe for the desert region. Flower farms, (half for dye) (half for flowers) (seeds for bone meal) Melons If you can compost mangrove roots (bone meal) For firework rockets, maybe 2 new farms right next to each other. General mob farm Sugarcane farm and auto craft rockets
Small boats that are useful in a large harbour: a suggestion - dredge boat (scoop dirt/sand up from the harbour/river) - tug boat (help larger ships correct course and get around)
Suggestion for the gold farm: You could run the line of hoppers that receives the items through a set of item sorters first, then you could send all the gold nuggets to the two-stage autocrafting system and burn all the excess rotten flesh.
Fun idea on the world tree if not suggested before, add purple veins throughout the roots and into the ground. So you can walk up to the purple glass/gem on the ground and see it from afar. just a thought, love the world!
Back from vacation so time to catch up on all my minecrafters! The clip of you rowing around with the pumpkin head skeleton was so funny. And blue orchid field!? IN LOVE! That's my favorite flower. Looked so good mixed with your retextured cornflowers
Not known for redstone? Is this the same Count Fwhip of the Grimmlands? Our favorite deepslate redstone enthusiast? This is just you getting up to your character’s knowledge is all. And you’re actually helping me learn more about redstone as well!
I just had the craziest idea What if the hermitcrafters and the empires smp players swaped smps for a season? And the hermircraft people can go and make their empires (which would look amazing btw) and make lore and a story, and the empires smp people can spend a season in hermitcraft It's a bit of a silly idea, but i think it'd be kinda cool! ^^
Autocrafting fireworks rockets are very easy to make… There’s a very compact design (less than 7x7x4 I believe) and you just route the gunpowder and sugar cane inputs and your rocket output…
always nice to see builders take on redstone! if you want your storage systems to look nicer, using water streams instead of hopper lines will both reduce lag and allow you to build sorters side by side to avoid the hoppers being the bottleneck
so casual, we're so so casual, so calm cool and collected. so casual. like so incredibly casual why would anyone think otherwise, obviously very very chill
Hard to believe it's been 2.5 years since this series first started. I remember watching the first episode the day it came out and it doesn't feel like 70 episodes have passed by. I enjoy these episodes where you go around the world updating things and modernizing the technical stuff. It helps feel like the world is more than you building stuff in it (not that that's a bad thing).
Hey Fwhip! I think we all would love more “technical” episodes since they help overall with the efficiency of collection, allowing you to build more often and produce more videos! Also, an idea: if you don’t have one already, maybe you could create some sort of bulk storage depot for items like pistons, observers, crafters, etc. so when you create new farms, you have much of the technical blocks already crafted? In my worlds I usually try to create bulk redstone materials so I don’t have to worry about collecting and crafting; it’s saved me a lot of time and headaches (especially building dispensers 🥴) Love the vids, your series inspires me!
This is so helpful!! I have a bunch of mini farms and I’m into my villager trading phase of my world and I am definitely going to take advantage of the autocrafter systems!
After you remove the snow from the snowy mountain by the harbor 13:08 , you should keep some hight and build a fortress. There is a river continuing from the bridge and going behind the mountain. If you dig it out to meet up with the big river on the right side, you create a natural moat for the fortress by making the mountain to an island instead of part of the mainland. Either way, the hight and placement is perfect for a fortress as it has views across the mainland behind and over the big river, making it a good point of defense for the city. A star fort with canons would be really cool. Underneath you could build tight streets with houses that are snaking up the mountain as a poorer district (as they are not shielded by the city walls). If you still want to dig the whole thing down, then perhaps a windmill at the top with surrounding farmland and farmhouses could look very nice for the area.
to give the world tree a more magical look, you could add small builds and little details as if fairies lived by and cherished for the tree! like, they could live under the bigger roots and maybe in the inside of the world tree!! would love to see that
LETZ GOOOO!!!!! i want to say that you're my biggesy inspiration, I'm going to make a minecraft world as well! Hopefully one day, it will be as big and connected as yours.
@32:45 You were putting composters over exposed hoppers to reduce lag, but I thought one of the things they updated was that if you put a full block above a hopper it wouldn't read it all, making full blocks more lag friendly than composters.... I may have misunderstood that one, though.
Your port looks so nice with that land dug out, just a thought; in real ports there are sometimes shallow areas, which bigger boats avoid by following port markers. Maybe leaving a big chunk of shallow land could look cool
I think it’s a little disorienting when you cut so much especially underground in ur redstone holes. Besides that.. Great video and your world looks amazing!
The world is looking amazing, it’s crazy how much work you’ve put into it, and I’ve really enjoyed watching it grow. Just occurred to me that it might be cool to have a few of the big tree’s roots peaking out the dirt or cliffs (even could break into and be built around in the city) surrounding it? Could be fun to play around with and would give the idea of how massive a root system this tree would need. Either way looking forward to all your future builds!
Blue orchids are actually special in my mincraft world. I got my first ones from the taiga village I found. Due to caves and tree coverage, monsters killed all of the villagers. That set me to making sure every village I visit is safe from monsters and extending from that to establishing the theme of my world: Eight Kingdoms.
There was something that felt off while I was watching this video, and I think I figured out what it is. For the majority of the video, I couldn’t hear any background music at all (even when turning my volume up uncomfortably loud to listen for it), which gives the impression that you’re going for a more chill out video. However, the presence of the more energetic youtuber type voice (as opposed to, for example, the more chill streaming voice) makes it seem like the video is supposed to be more upbeat and exciting. The combo of these two factors leads to a vibe that feels somewhat discordant to me, and I guess I just wanted to mention that. It feels like you’re trying to go for two contrasting vibes at the same time, and it doesn’t work super well for me personally, at least.
Hey FWhip!! you should definitely try making builds inspired from shows and other video games, or make tributes/eastereggs to past smps throughout your world. Keep making amazing videos!!! Have a good day!
I've watched quite a few of your videos just in random orders when the algorithm throws them at me, but actually, this episode made me want to watch your world grow from the beginning. I too am a huge fan of mapping and I love seeing them change with progress, but it's not something I ever see RUclipsrs doing, so this was lovely and refreshing 🥰 'fWhipstoning' is honestly a mood, following a tutorial then having to work out how why it's not working with your farm the same way, and faking it until you make it 🤣
It would be cool if you took an episode or two to decorate some of your more "technical" looking farms! Maybe a cute little structure around the copper farm storage or the gold farm output area! I feel like I forget how much time you've put into them sometimes because you don't spend much time on-screen at any of them compared to how much time you spend around the main cities of Path and New Papyrus. They're just as important in the progression of your world as the main decorative builds imo and decorating them would be a nice way to recognize that!
Great episode...learned a bunch! A tip for your rotten flesh...I add a few clerics to my drowned farm and the amount of emeralds you can trade for is insane!
idunno what's planned for the empty grassy area under the world tree, but i think it would be really really cool to see a huge colorful magic stone there that has a side like a cracked jawbreaker, feeding the roots to make it grow like that with powerful magic. maybe it's an ancient meteorite, maybe a strange giant geode that was at first quarried for mining out crystals that provide magic. oh, and a (maybe sinister vibe-having) remote monastery right by the gold farm, where the clerics would take care of the rotten flesh!
I hope that you'll do a "cold village" one day. I love New Papyrus and its warm vibe (duh, its in a desert), so i think a cold village could be amazing
maybe add in some root extensions from the big tree in the mines? a tree that large would have ridiculously lengthy roots, so if they popped up in spots like that or even somehow the nether portal room, it wouldn't feel out of place
For the composters on the hoppers Imagine you’re in a line with a bunch of people next to a wall that has a window for each of you, your job is to hand the item the guy in front of you gives to the guy behind you but you also have to stick your other arm out the window and feel if there’s anything else to grab. Nothing over the hopper is just a big empty space you fail your arm about to see if there’s anything to grab, a chest is a small room you can feel around, a composter is a small box the size of your hand, you can feel all sides with just your hand
Do you think ever think about adding glass into river to show the currents of the water or does this effect only work well with terraforming the land around it.
you can reduce lag from hoppers by placing composters on top of them, also to get rid of mobs lagging your server, you can place them on double carpet(this is mostly for villagers)(it disables their path finding) Edit: I did NOT see that you placed composters when I posted this
fWhip, just and idea, but you should build a whole biome!! Like how Cub did on S8 or 9 of HermitCraft!!! I think it could really add some new sights to your world!! Kind of like what you did with the mountain, but taking a plains field, and turning it into something new! Something that isn't in Minecraft! Like an upwelling of sorts, or some subtropical biome!!!
i am a redstoner and didnt felt bad, i wish you have a long, good and enjoyable journey to more technical projects always combined with magnificent buildings. as for the gold farm, maybe you want to drop the piglins direct onto the gold filters and let the other stuff despawn, or use an allay to drop the flesh into fire, else you need to add more modules
Never use hopper chains with any farm involving zombies xD If you use water over sorters, you should manage to sort all the nuggets/copper out with 5 or 6 sorters and just burn everything else at the end of the water stream.
At all the places that create rotten flesh you should make shulker loaders. That way you can go pick up the rotten flesh for that eventual cleric emerald hall.
Maybe you could send the rotten flesh back into the nether and then transport it to the trading hall. Or just build a new trading hall dedicated to this farm near the storage system and just rearrange it all.
I don’t know if this is normal for me but throughout all of the fwhip videos I’ve watched i noticed that the main difference between voiceover fwhip and normal talk fwhip is that voiceover always starts off high/medium, goes through mixes of highs and lows, and almost always ends with what I can only assume is as low as fwhip can go. I like it but for some reason it’s always my first thought whenever I hear it.
For me the obvious answer to all your rotten flesh at the drowned farm is to move some clerics into your storage area and then it can also be a redstone farm.....same with gold farm btw which you could build into some sort of giant cleric church
Hey Fwhip! I was wondering what you would do after the hardcore series? After the Unfortunate Demise, (By the way hope that never happens) what would you do instead? would start another hardcore world? or would you do more SMPs? Keep up the great work it looks amazing!
Every time you work with Redstone, I watch hoping that something about Redstone will finally make sense to me, but it never does😅 Without tutorials, I am forever baffled, haha!
hey fwhip, you could add a datapack that turns rotten flesh into dirt or bone meal using a composter, this would help you acquire dirt more easily for your projects, as well as giving rotten flesh a use
the tl;dr of why composters make hoppers less laggy is that hoppers check two ways for items : - else in the block space above, which checks the coordinates and the items around (quite laggy) - else in the inventory above it, would it be furnaces, chests, minecarts etc... through every single inventory slots. And as composters have a single inventory slot (for bone meal), which is the smallest inventory (or one of if I missed something) in the game, making the hopper check the minimum amount of slots, reducing the lag it would produce by checking every other slots.
I will watch you do more technical redstone stuff. As long as you're enjoying it. It's neat to watch you work with it, and see you kinda stumble and improve over it. But I enjoy builds, too, so don't feel like you have to do anything fancy if it's not working for you.

Idea for a new addition, if you ever feel like it: elven forest city
А вы построить Эйфелеву башню?? У вас это отлично получится!
13:18 With that huge cave, it would be neat to build one or more sunken ships down there. Add to a creepy factor perhaps.
It’d be cool to add some buildings to where you mine mud, like an old swamp village that is secretly more mud storage.
Yeah I'd love to do a village on stilts or something above the mud out there, could be really fun on the edge of the mangrove swamp!
@@fWhip That sounds like a great idea actually. Maybe make some custom mangrove trees with an extensive root network and flood the whole area and then have stilt houses connected by walkways with a small pier for docking small transportation boats.

WHOOO NEW FWHIP VIDEO
I think any full block on top of a hopper works now, not just composters. Anyway, great episode dude!

General mob farm
Sugarcane farm and auto craft rockets

- dredge boat (scoop dirt/sand up from the harbour/river)
- tug boat (help larger ships correct course and get around)

Anyways, love the fRedstone!
I'm still waiting for empires season three even though I know it's not going to happen
Time for the fwhip ad runs
Fwhipstone: a more clunky and unnecessarily complicated version of red stone
It always hurts me inside when Fwip uses nether wood to craft things like chests or crafting tables because I knew w how hard it is to get.
I think to protect the wither skelly farm (and make it look a lot better) you could add a custom nether/Dracula fortress.😅
hey fwhip, you could add a datapack that turns rotten flesh into dirt or bone meal using a composter, this would help you acquire dirt more easily for your projects, as well as giving rotten flesh a use
You should deforest the entire area, add a six lane highway and a bunch of dollar generals, McDonalds, Walmarts and more
I like the field of notability
I already know this gonna be a fire vid
the tl;dr of why composters make hoppers less laggy is that hoppers check two ways for items :
- else in the block space above, which checks the coordinates and the items around (quite laggy)
- else in the inventory above it, would it be furnaces, chests, minecarts etc... through every single inventory slots.
And as composters have a single inventory slot (for bone meal), which is the smallest inventory (or one of if I missed something) in the game, making the hopper check the minimum amount of slots, reducing the lag it would produce by checking every other slots.
A new fwhip video just what I needed after a long day.
I think for the gold farm you should do water streams instead of hoppers so the rotten flesh gets cleared faster
I will watch you do more technical redstone stuff. As long as you're enjoying it. It's neat to watch you work with it, and see you kinda stumble and improve over it. But I enjoy builds, too, so don't feel like you have to do anything fancy if it's not working for you.
I think you should build a deck right off of your front porch looking out into the valley just for the shulker messes
