The Supreme Court has requested responses from the National Medical Commission (NMC), the Union Government, and the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) regarding a plea against the decision not to conduct the National Eligibility-and-Entrance Test Superspeciality (NEET-SS) in 2024. Thirteen doctors filed the plea under Article 32 of the Constitution, challenging the cancellation. Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud and Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra issued notices to the relevant authorities
