I agree it’s kinda disappointing they didn’t do much together, but I suppose when you consider what they individually stream and how they stream, it becomes apparent they don’t have much commonality. Elira is a mellow streamer who casually plays games, while Selen is more boisterous and plays mostly shooters and kusoge. There’s also the possibility the two just don’t relate to each other behind the scenes and see themselves as merely acquaintances. That one time they played Battleship was a lot of fun, and they do bounce off one another pretty well, but I don’t see that happening again anytime soon unfortunately.
@@SilvertheShadow I think it’s more about streaming style. Elira streamed Apex once during Lazulight’s first year. That’s Selen’s bread and butter. Plus, even Enna admitted in her recent Nijilosers Apex collab that she wanted to know how to play a lil bit before playing with Selen. So clearly the girls themselves feel a little bit intimidated to play FPS with the purple dragon. Additionally, Selen has been collaborating with EVERYONE Nijisanji or not. She even had scheduled a collab with Ollie from HoloID. So it’s not like it’s easy to collab with Selen to begin with. Meanwhile Elira has collaborated with half of Nijisanji JP including her oshi (Chigusa). So it doesn’t seem like something personal, rather they like and do different things as streamers and people. Plus, I don’t know anything about how they behave off camera but Elira and Selen have some really great TeeTee moments like when Elira compliments Selen in front of everyone or when Selen privately talks to Elira midstream (without chat hearing it) and Elira seemed very touched. Finally, the litmus test for Selen liking someone is to see if she bullied them. Has Selen bullied Elira? 🤔
Idk the “role play” aspect of vtubers is fun and all but it’s better if they don’t force it just because their lore says they’re sisters. It would be weird and awkward lol, better to just let them act normally around each other. I guess it just so happened that the person chosen to be Elira’s sister just didn’t end up with a natural occurring “pairing” with Elira like some others in Nijisanji like Enna and Millie or Mysta and Mika, Reimu and Vox etc.
