Sorry to tell you, but Deion made 900,000-1.25 million each year at JSU from the base salary, incentives, and performance bonuses. JSU AD is making 400,000+. JSU’s previous women’s B-Ball coach was offered 1 million plus incentives over a course of 4 years. Coach Hue Jackson (NFL) at Grambling was paid 400,000 base salary before he was fired last year. He was tied with Eddie George for the highest paid HBCU football coach in country when it comes to Base salaries . (Base Salaries) - Eddie George & Hue JACKSON: $400,000/year - Eric Dooley: $310,000/year - Clarence McKinney (Tx Southern): $306,000/year - Willie Simmons (FAMU): $300,000/year - Deion Sanders: $300,000/year
We finshed in the top 25 and have been recruiting well. That's usually how it works when it comes to doing those pre-season rankings. I can understand SCSU not being on there. I think TnSU can replace the guys they lost, though their problem the last few years has been losing guys from teams when they seem to be on their way up
My question is, has any HBCU players made it to the NFL through the legacy combine, and if HBCUs are part of the FCS, how is it they’re not considered in those playoffs?? Is it considered a separate division???
Dont believe that "Deion didn't need the money" bull he was preaching. He was getting a base AND a percentage of the gate and a percentage of the concessions.....before any bonuses. That's why he was trying to keep folks coming out. HE GOT A PORTION!!! That's the main reason he chose JSU. They led the FCS in attendance for years even before him and seating capacity so he knew he could get paid.
Coach Prime has had money since the 80s what are you 12 years old?Do you even know anything about who Coach Prime was BEFORE he got to Jackson?Do you think his FIRST paying job was at JSU😂😂
@melissaporter5928 no . I'm 55 and my dad played in the NFL and won 4 Superbowls and was a 15 time finalist for the HoF so I'm well aware of who he is. I'm replying to the statement that's been said that he took the job as charity .
Michael Vick more than likely took a pay cut to become a coach at NSU, but NSU can make the money back by selling VicK NSU merch (even with including Vick getting a cut of the sells).
Yea he got another year of eligibility. Based off what I seen from him and just film from the new guy, I think Stubblefield will be the starter. I obviously could be wrong though. We got that guy Mason Kidd from the portal last year and he didn’t touch the field. Now he gone
Ahmad Miller will be the lead back returning if healthy for JSU.
Don't be surprised if it's nate Blount from Brandon

Google is your friend. I promise if you ask google or ChatGPT you will get your answer.
I hope the best for Vick however you cannot assume that just because it's Vick that his team is going to be great! Come on now!

@@melissaporter5928his point is that Deion was getting paid big money… 2022 season he made 1.3 million paid from JSU.

There's no Ryan Stubblefield?? That's news to Bulldog Nation, do you know something we don't know yet?
I went based off his status last year as a senior and him starting school in 2020 to come to the conclusion his eligibility would have run out
I could be wrong but I believe Ryan Stubblefield is coming back to South Carolina state
He was a senior, and they haven't released the 2025 roster. I felt it was a safe assumption though I could be wrong

Ryan is returning. Has another yr of eligibility. Also, Eric transferred but did play the yr before coming to SCSU.

And I believe Amari Jones said he has 3 years on Coby’s show
lol I don’t agree lol 😂

You agree that Southern is ass?
@ do you agree yall ass only played in one championship game the other two or debatable especially since Howard won the championship game
